To be fair, even the Aldi page has a typo in the name - "Napolean"!!

Also, note this is an unspecified French Brandy, not a Cognac or Armagnac, so direct comparison with major brands may be misleading. To understand the difference see flaviar.com/blo…-it
but in short, the latter two are distilled from wine, whereas Brandy may be made from any fruit and may be made by distilling the grape skins after pressing (like Portuguese Aguardente). So they can be different animals......

Having said that - if you like it, it's all good!
