Now that's cool. I didn't read the comments. As I'm sure it's pointed out by a flat earther that the video is in reverse.

The Falcon 9 returns to Earth <3 https://twitter.com/scale_banana/status/1267401195829760001 (I was trying to embed it, doesn't work on here)

Deedie

Did you actually manage to see it. I seen a picture yesterday of someone who pictured it over North Lanarkshire. I could not see it from paisley, but I wasn't looking to be honest.

louiselouise

Some of the comments on that Twitter thread are so depressing (knowing I walk the planet with these morons), I stopped reading. Had actually forgotten I'd posted that!

Deedie

I went and watched that video on YouTube just now. That is clearly a piece of debris. There are a few pieces of debris that can be seen during that video. There is absolutely zero possibility of that being a mouse.

I dont know what happens to the deals when someone asks for their account to be deleted, I have had enough of having post after post deleted and I'm calling it quits; the moderation is a joke. I've even had posts complaining about a stream of racist posts deleted, and the racist posts left alone. If this deal vanishes, could someone else please repost it ?? Bye.

I am kind of skeptical. I don't want alien call centres calling me offering cosmic deals.

Never mind, the internet always loses things in translation... Cornwall is so nice isn’t it? I need to live down there, completely different to up north! I’d even swap my accent for theirs if I could XD Anyway, Happy Christmas 🎅🏼 :)

PAULTRD

I explained it terribly... it's also to do with the fact that the earth is spinning on its axis while the ISS is in orbit, and the earth tilt.. anyways, I hope you enjoyed Cornwall (y) it's a lovely part of the country

hippysoul33

It did pass daily when I was in Cornwall. I watched it everyday as I’ve already said

PAULTRD

You replied to a comment stating they were correct in thinking it passes overhead multiple times a day. I'm just saying it doesn't.

All probes / rovers and suchlike burn up or run out of fuel eventually. It's the data sent back to earth which helps us understand the cosmos better and advance our scientific knowledge. When the mission is complete I'm sure you will be able to read about the findings in scientific journals first. You'll then find simpler explanations in the newspapers for Joe public.

PetrolHeadRR

Damn, I've just added my name to the list. Wish I've read that before sending it :/

jasonq794

Why would NASA spend any money sending a rocket to the sun, when it's just going to burn up? What scientific data or research could they hope to get from this?

So sad to read some of the negative comments on here. Thank you to the deal poster, my children loved this last year and I see absolutely nothing wrong with a little white lie while they are still young enough to believe in the magic of Christmas. That's not to say that they don't know about science and space or that there is a Brit on board the iss. To believe that this reflects the sad state of the world is to me sad in itself.

Brewer

Good to see Scrooge is not dead! We "do it your way" 364 days o the year - giving little hearts and minds some respite from the "big bad world" 1 day of the year seems the least we should do. Children are not young long. I am frankly staggered you even bother celebrating Christmas.

How do you know what this person does in life? Such assumptions are blind. Also it's Freud* and masturbatory*, I feel I should join the rest of the crew on here in correcting spelling and 'grammer.

Why do some ppl find it so difficult to believe? I mean we have aircraft that can fly to the edge of the Earth. Some conspiracy theories are just rubbish.
