All probes / rovers and suchlike burn up or run out of fuel eventually. It's the data sent back to earth which helps us understand the cosmos better and advance our scientific knowledge. When the mission is complete I'm sure you will be able to read about the findings in scientific journals first. You'll then find simpler explanations in the newspapers for Joe public.
Damn, I've just added my name to the list. Wish I've read that before sending it :/
Why would NASA spend any money sending a rocket to the sun, when it's just going to burn up? What scientific data or research could they hope to get from this?
I've not read all the comments son expect this joke had already been made, but I'd be shocked if this deal doesn't get much heat lol
Ooooooooooooh great (sun) burn!!!
