National Curry Week M&S Indian Takeaway Deal - with decent veggie options too! - £10

Offer commences 11th October and ends 17th October

To celebrate National Curry Week (or because it's been an entire month since the last Indian takeaway deal), M&S are offering 2 mains and 2 sides from the choices below for £10. This sounds worse than the 2 mains and 3 sides they normally offer so I'm guessing the loss of one side is either due to bigger portions or the increased choice available, particularly for vegetarians.

Edit: Sparks card holders get a third side for free (thanks @robbie1412)

Really nice menu, thanks @Shaheel

Can anyone comment on quality? I’ve never had a food deal from M&S before so not sure how good/bad they are or whether they are worth it.

Morrison's are doing "Indian curry" for £1-50 a portion !

Marks & Spenser currys are very nice and worthy of a £10 tag for their meal deal

They are good by supermarket terms IMPO.

Just be careful to look underneath the cardboard to make sure that you have a good helping of chicken or lamb or prawns in the carton and not just a carton full of sauce.

I also found that the microwave cooking times can be not enough and that I have to give the curry a few stirs during cooking otherwise the curry cooks unevenly. Don't get this with other brands.

Thanks appreciate the detailed response.

Some of the worst quality curries i've ever had,the chicken is like rubber & the lamb is very fatty & grisly

Nice Ruby Murray from Asda too, well worth a fiver for 2 of us.

This was on last Saturday as we had it then. Good deal though. You get loads in the Indian starter selection.

Waitrose also have a similar offer at the moment - for £10 - 2 mains, 1 rice and 2 other sides.

The quality is good, but in my opinion it’s no better than what Morrison’s has to offer for a fraction of the cost. Great options at m&s though, worth getting two curries with two sides that arent rice, and then getting a pouch of microwave rice for 75p
