I think there's a problem with this offer. I received an email which when I follow the link the offer is as above. It's the same address as I've posted but I'm not so sure others will get the offer.

I don't know how to circumnavigate this problem if it's as I suspect.

Under those circumstances I would suggest emailing them stating you've received an email offering the above and can you order it. I say that because when I use the link provided here on a different PC it reverts back to the higher price.

Has it changed since acquired by the Murdoch empire machine? Didn't they sack a load of staff?

I used to be an avid reader and renewed my subscription just before it went under Murdoch's ownership. Such a huge shame. It's utterly utterly rubbish now. I suggest you buy a copy and read through before subscribing to see if it is to your liking as this is not the NatGeo that I grew up with (and dreamed of being a photographer for them one day). I literally haven't been able to make it through reading one of them cover to cover since the takeover. I end up chucking it away after a couple of pages. Will not be renewing my subscription.

Wish i knew that before i subscribed,i was under the impression it was a quality mag,i've seen the photo's on instagram & was impressed

Well, I might be mistaken but:
- lots more adverts
- more junk mail in with subscription issues
- photos seem lacklustre (there's even a couple of our focus in the latest issue ffs) I used to look through and go WOW at breathtaking images and dream of being a NatGeo photography - now lots of them seem bland in comparison to past quality (interested in whether others agree or it's just a subconscious thing on my part)
