Youngsters go for less but 13-25 years is only £16.50 and over 25 years £36.38. You also get a free pair of binoculars. Perfect as Spring is round the corner and getting out and about comes easier.

Would recommend NT over English Heritage but a bit disappointed in both. EH seems to be just ruins everywhere andI have found myself with NT walking around lots of empty rooms 'these were the servants quarters, these were the masters rooms' etc. with nothing but empty space. Check what is in your driving range first to see if you would get full advantage although at these prices you only need to visit about 5 places to get your moneys worth.

30% cashback via TopCashBack for National Trust Memberships.......

Have been using the New Zealand one for the last few years. It's much cheaper and no problems using it in the UK at all and if it plays on your conscience you can still make a donation and use the coffee shop on visits.

if you join the nz one do you have to pay for the membership card too or can you get it emailed? thanks x

link doesnt work

last year took me ages to get the binoculars sent through. Always worth canceling each year. Then rejoin through topcashback (anywhere between 30-60%cashback) and they always seem to have 9mths for price of 12 for new members

I have just joined the New Zealand National trust it is $69 for a family of 2 adult and 2 children and $10 for overseas members. This works out I think about £38 in total.

9mths for the price of 12? That seems expensive and unreasonable? ;-)

The card is included in the price and they post it to you. They turn things around pretty quickly as well and it's normally sorted out within a week.

The only downside can be that you may have to pay for parking at some NT places, but then again many have free parking anyway and if you do have to pay it's pretty cheap.

I joined mainly for the gardens and went to some great places all over the UK. Handy for holidays too. Quidco 30% too so this is a great deal.

tatton is gorgeous and speke hall i love! dunham massey is brilliant. We have enjoyed them all and more! they are so much better than they used to be..quizes for kids to get them involved and people dressed up peforming an insite into lives back then..my kids have loved it so im going to join again for this year.
Bear in mind when you get the membership that most properties are closed from oct-mar (i think depends property) which was a shock to me as i thought it would be great in winter so check first?

The problem is that most places are closed six months of the year so it don't matter how many months are free really.

Also parking can be a good few quid so membership is well worth it

This offer is still running. Just joined - with 30% Cash back from Quidco - tracked within an hour.
Also if you are lucky enough to be a higher rate tax payer, this membership is eligible for Gift Aid and so you can claim back the additional higher rate tax with your tax return. Plus NT also get a contribution from the taxman - which will help cover the cost of any cash back payment they'll have made

Took offer up a few days before recent kids school holiday. Got email confrimation, as paperwork could take 5+ days to arrive.

We used it during recent holiday and saved the value of family subscription (on NT entries and car parking). Also quidco tracked almost immediately, and paperwork/bins were waiting when we got back from holiday.

All in all excellent value for money, IMHO. Some places we visited had a little stand selling the annual membership for full price eg £88.50 I often wonder how many people actually join at that price.
