Children can be serious about their tech, too. A lot of them are probably more aware of what's hot and what's not than adults so would be offended by getting a "it's only for a child" spec'd tablet.

They should be grateful there getting a tablet for xmas............a clip around the ear hole should sort them out

WOW hot... like it

This will get HOT!

I bought one of these, total bargin for the week it lasted before the power cable broke off in the tablet, it was the poorest quality non standard adapter i've ever seen, total cwap, buyer beware. Buy a nexus or Kindle HD instead.

No good if needing 1 from Santa

Want something for my mum for Christmas, just for browsing, facebook, few games etc. Does this fit the bill or is there anything else out there a bit cheaper that will do the job? Thanks

If your child is a spoiled brat I completely agree.

If it isnt however then hopefully they would appreciate a fairly decent specced tablet which you can do most things you would want to do on a tablet.

If your child is that offended they can get a paper round and save up for a 64gb ipad 4 themselves, it is what I had to do for items which my parents felt was an unnecessary extravagance and looking back is one of the best things they ever did for me as I truly appreciated the things I really wanted.

hmmm..... to buy for manga reader or not to buy???

though the res is not its biggest selling point... Im torn between this and a Galaxy Tab2 10.1

There seems to be an automated Amazon warning about no delivery before Christmas on several marketplace sellers. I just bought the A1CS 8" IPS and the same warning was there but the seller is guaranteeing delivery way before Christmas.

Under £100 for a 10" tablet is a good buy.

Any idea on battery life?

If it's in stock and from the UK, why would they wait two weeks to box it and send it ?

Wendy lou dispatches from here base in kilcady scotland so you will have it within 2 days of ordering as she uses royal mail tracked (special delivery). She has first class service and if there is an issue they will replace or repair within 4 working days. The best things is to email her when you order and ask it to be checked before dispatch like I did.

I own a cube u30gt and a nexus 7 32gb and I got a cheap natpc 7" for my son, the natpc is well built & appears far better constructed than my nexus 7. I think this deal is great for under £100 delivered, this should be good for adults as well as kids & if I had my time back I'd of bought this for my son instead of teh 7" natpc.

Poor resolution for a 10" tablet, the screen is not going to look great.

Does this have non wifi GPS for sea charts???

I remember when 1024x768 was the standard resolution for a 15" screen LOL

Bought one for the missus...she's no tech head & will love it.

Heat from me.

P.S iI'll let you know if it comes in time!

I have the smaller version of this. Got it for £65 and was amazing for that price. Only criticism is the screen isn't as responsive as it could be, and if you are used to high end phone screens, etc, you might find you'll need to apply more pressure to avoid accidental presses and what-not.

One other problem is I can't work out how/where to root it? This is very important because you cannot update apps such as youtube/facebook until you delete the .odex file in the data folder. And this can only be done via root. Does anyone know what you need to root one of these NATPC devices?

This is the same resolution as most 10inch netbooks out there. Perfectly acceptable for most common purposes. We're just spoilt now by the increasingly ridiculous retina resolution displays.

Same screen resolution as the NATPC 7" M009S X2 that I ordered a few weeks ago and that looked fantastic (was IPS screen). Would expect this to look worse but not by that much and certainly by no means terrible as some people seem to think. For under £100 I think this is an excellent buy. Build quality on the 7" was fine and seemed quite well made for the money. Tablet itself was very quick.

Right I've bit the bullet in the hope of having it from Santa.

Any recommendations for a cover ?
