In my opinion, these cook a lot quicker than standard chips and look and taste more like chip shop chips as each chip is not the same length. Each to their own but for £1 for 1.65 kilo of ready pealed and chopped frozen chips that seem to cook in under 10 minutes seems very good value.

These are lush!
GREAT deal.... if you can get it
As long as half the packet hasn't got those small bottom of the barrel cut off chips that just aren't a chip, then I'd consider them.
The burnt and crispy ones that break teeth lol...

They dont seem to put these out prominently as I imagine they have very little profit. Normally on a high shelf and on the very last page for CHIPS on their website. They have always been in stock as far as I know.

Pop into your local store, speak with the manager to find out. Iceland also have a money back gurantee, eat all the ones you like, take back any you dont and ask for a full refund.

they are very under rated - everyone thinks McCains etc are better simply due to "branding"
Does it include the green and black ones?
I will join the 50 people in queue and get a bag
Wait till the hoarders get wind, you will find nothing but empty freezers. That’s the current problem near me hardly any food to buy. Same with nappies and milk formula including baby medicine.

These probably are McCain. They make the majority of chips in the country.

Just one more thing...... Thanks
These have been in stores for the last couple of months however i thought because of them being rejected chips nobody would want to know.

I hope so they are my favourites.
These have sold at this price for a few months now...they're really good and I don't get why they're tagged imperfect. I prefer them to the so called perfect ones. Always make sure there's at least one bag of these at home at any given time.

I mean cos by the time you get in, EVERYTHING is gone
The beef dripping chunky skin on ones at Iceland are legendary.
Ingredients - Potatoes, Sunflower oil, Dextrose - sugar here - that's disgusting
Almost everything near me is sold out. I'm too scared to join the am crowds

These would otherwise be waste. If you sell a waste stream then that is actually a maximum profit scenario.
Had an Iceland delivery yesterday, they were out of stock of every single frozen item we ordered.
Morrisons also sell oven chips for a few pennies more; 1.2kg for £1.00
These are regulal prices.....people need to stop panic shopping

Good for them - no waste then from making chips.
