Natwest Cashback Plus - cashback on your regular spending

Found 19th Feb 2014
Natwest Cashback Plus offers cashback on your regular spending; in order to earn this cashback, you need to 'activate' your card.

At the moment, you will earn the following rates of cashback:

1% for Tesco and Co-op
1% for Caffe Nero
1% for BP
1% for Cineworld

Clearly not groundbreaking amounts of cashback, but worth activating nonetheless.

Can exchange your cash back for other things now too. For example £5 gets you a £10 halfwords voucher or 2 tickets to cineworld.

Cash back rates are unique per people, some may get upto 15% for a couple of weeks, heat mind for it mind! Got quite a few free cineworld tickets from this

Sound's too good to be true. What's the catch?

I've been trying to log in ever since registering

Santander offer casback on utilities, council tax, mobile payments and mortgage payments....... these are ones you have to pay anyway, so why not take advantage. of it.
Conditions are u have to pay in £500 each month and a £2 monthly fee

So Natwest offer is cold in my eyes!

I would assume this is a start for Natwest, they will move on from here after feedback & research. Looking forward to the future of this, signed up.

Its been going a while, frankly i cant understand how this can be cold when its totally free? If your already with NatWest you may as well use it,

The range of places for cashback is so niche - agree with the comment of Santander offering cashback on things almost everyone needs to pay

I wouldnt say it "sucks", I mean most people need to buy food and fuel.
Depends who you're with I guess.

I dont disagree Santander's is better overall however.
