This has been "minimum quantity 2" since October, but available to buy singly again. Often it's on back-order but it's available for delivery tomorrow:3410989.jpgIt's Nautica Voyage I want for a cutdown price, though

  • Fragrance from the designer house of Nautica
  • An eau de toilette for men
  • A strong scent.
  • Base notes of Sandalwood, Musk, Cedar
  • 100 ml bottle

There's another website, Perfume Price, that has this for £7.95 (Free Delivery) but I've never heard of them!
Got this as a everyday scent it’s ok does not last long but for the money it’s not bad
It doesn't last so long because...
While Eau de Toilette contains 5-9% of perfume oil, Eau de Parfum usually contains 8-14%. Eau de Parfums therefore last longer and smell more intense

Compared to Voyage it doesn't last as long, I think (I'm going by reviews, I've only ever gifted this one). Same concentration.

BTW another great, cheap aquatic I do buy is Giorgio Wings For Men (the 100ml was £4.99 from Savers before Xmas, not sure if it still is). That's also an EDT and is is *strong*.

Another (for men) EDT scent cherry bomb is the infamous Joop! Homme. 🍒

That's not always true.

Alot of perfume houses do not do EDP or P versions and their EDTs last just as long.

Paco Rabbane and Versace are two houses for example.

Joop EDT and CK Obsession EDT to this day last longer than any EDP or Parfum I have tried. You need to take a shower to remove the scent!!!

I suppose you have to add reformulations into the mix as well. Boyf's favourite scent is CK Eternity For Men and there's lots of discussions online saying it's nowhere near as potent as it was in the 1990s.

That's because the EU, over the last 20/30yrs, has banned alot of ingredients used in fragrance so the synthetic notes used are not as strong as the real notes. The strength of oils used is still the same however.

Yes, I know this, I'm on Fragrantica forums a lot You can't generalise about specific scents and their reformulations, sillage-wise, however, there HAVE been some jarring changes with some.

Even the cherry-monster Joop! Homme had a reformulation a few years ago - still pretty strong but many reckon it's slightly different. As did Nautica Voyage (the bottle shape changed slightly as well, where the sprayer cap sits).

Never had this before so bought it on chance. It’s just arrived and I’m a bit disappointed, it hardly has any smell at all. Is this how it should be?
