does it really seem like a good idea to put the option of a TV right in front of a driver - which is where a satnav has to be, if it's any use.

Doesn't mean you have to watch it whilst you're driving though

manufacturer feature: "For safety reasons the TV is designed not to work while your vehicle is in motion"

Did you really think they'd have designed something that let you watch TV whilst driving????

Where do you put the aerial for Freeview then

Good price if you want one but pointless product IMO

You've quoted from Amazon?
According to manufacturers website (eu.mio.com/en_…tm) all it says is:
" *The TV and video player feature must not be used in the front of the vehicle while driving or in any way that may distract the driver as this may cause an accident. Please make sure that you comply with this warning. Mio assumes no liability in this regard. "

Just add a splitter to your home's TV aerial cable and use a very long extension wire attached to a retractable cable reel in your car. :whistling:
