If you think you may like a holiday in Jersey, Guernsey, in fact any of the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man, do check you're NOT getting a device based on TeleAtlas mapping, irrespective of what it says about "comprehensive coverage"

According to TeleAtlas, these places just don't exist.

Very useful - Not

I have a Garmin StreetPilot 510T (Includes a Traffic Information receiver with a lifetime subscription), which is a little long in the tooth, but an excellent device and it is based on Navteq mapping.

The traffic info is moderately useful, but either the receiver is a little deaf or the transmitter coverage isn't that good and I sometimes go for ages without receiving a traffic update.

Apparently this unit has no PC connectivity?! That sounds a bit rubbish, to be honest... have a look at that other GPS SatNav that's on the site, the Navigo via ebuyer on the ]Hot UK Deals thread

Ordered mine for £49.99

You can install Tom Tom and other maps on it.

He has posted in the wrong thread

Seems like a good price. Moneysupermarket's price checker has 5 sites selling this, the cheapest being £89.99

Any good for Northern Ireland? The Tom Tom maps miss any road that isn't 3 lanes wide.

thanks for this - have had this for about a year - i bought it when a misprice at £99.99 delivered was available back then

have had a few problems with new roads etc - so the only way to update the maps is to buy this bundle at £14.99? Hmm...don;'t fancy that as I'll only need to update it once. Anybody feel like lending me theirs?

This unlock does not appear to be for the F series.

Is this the same model as was being offered by ebuyer for £49.99?

Original Poster

You need to have received the offer email from ebuyer to get the £49.99 inc vat & delivery when you login. And you only get that email if you haven't ordered anything for 6 months. (luckily I had a dormant 2nd account!)

silly question but.... will PC world price match (plus 10%) this, as they are part of the dixons group
