Does anyone know what the battery life is like? I bought a navman F10 and the battery life is very poor. Really like this one, and the price is good! Hot!

ANy body know if I can get European and/or US maps for this?

This isnt much of a good deal imo. I paid £58.75 for this in November last year with a leather case from amazon. Its currently £49.99 + VAT at Makro aswel.

Good Sat Nav for the money though.

Far better with this :…99/

As it also a multimedia player which runs TomTom, MP3, DivX Movies, Photo's, etc

must have missed this, thanks for the headsup. Gone for the Navman 4.3 and pm'd you.

thanks, toad

I also bought this from Amazon when they were including the leather case for a total of £58.75. It is quite a nice piece of kit but the maps are already quite old, dating back to 2007. Navman were running a promotion where you got a free 2009 map update provided you registered the S30 in time. That has finished now and without it I think you should look elsewhere.

My only complaint about this satnav is that even on full volume, I find it a little quiet. Forget opening the window or having the radio on, even normal road noise can cause problems. I still like it though, very nice u/i, easy to use etc

I have this one & it's really good. I don't know what I did without it. I've had mine since Dec 2007 though!

why do folk complain about battery? Its a satnav... that goes in your car.... which has a cig socket. They are not designed to last a long time without battery.

got this from halfords with the mains addaptor + leather case, etc......cost a lot more then this, was about a year ago through....it,s not a bad one to be honest......lots of features.....ok for in the uk, etc......batt life is good for when im on my scoot....lasts about 2hr +......ok to get me out of a jam, if lost...........worth the price id say..
