Along with the many other "Morrisons Reduced" threads at the mo - Morrisons have also reduced the Navman S70 3D down to £50.

Not sure if they'll be in your local Morrisons, I got mine from Coalville today. They also were reducing they're mobile phones down to half price and Oregon 2k headcams down to £29 as well!

As for the Navman pretty good write ups and seems a bargain for what you get. Not exactly the most of aesthetic of items compared to my Navigon, but will be great for the father in laws Christmas present! Certainly cheaper than anywhere else on the net.

There are lots of Satnavs at Morrissons being posted atm, so some may be store specific, if they're not duplicated, or there may just be tons of choice

Great deal, especially as it is very easy to hack.
99% of the time I use the built in software. But occasionally when I fancy a change (or cant find what im looking for, I just pop in a micro sd with tomtom 8 on it)

Also forgot, if you hack it you can watch movies on it, quite handy for the kids

Must be store specific as none of them were in my local this afternoon.

My local Morrisons did have this last night at 7pm. My OH went for the Navman S50 for £34 though.

rang around a few of the morrisons before venturing out and found one for £40 (a navman m30??) at Horsforth in Leeds.

I checked last night, no satnavs at all in my local Thamesmead store :-(

Personally I dislike my Navman S50 (or is it an S60 I forget); it reboots just when you don't want it to for no good reason, and its voice turns are a joke, for example it calls Stockport (Stockford and with the emphasis on the word being more like Stoccckforrd); it has 2009 maps (the newest) yet still has not got some (very significant) roads in my locality that were built 5 years ago.

And the Bluetooth is very handset specific, so dont expect to be able to have your text messages spoken to you.

Hacking is illegal

doesnt matter. the xbox 360 is hackable too..cool

The newest maps are June 2010.

Anyway, put iGO on it. Sorted.

Not noticed the reboot or stockport thing mate but the s50 picks some really **** routes round our way. I was trying to get to an aquatic shop near Altrincham and it took me accross b roads through Whythenshaw no matter what I set it too! Good job I know the area however it felt like it was doing the same when we went on holiday to Wales last year - some journeys I thought shouldn't have taken so long, with obscure 'shortcuts'... Also lots of petrol stations that don't exist any more!

Oh and the speed is about 7mph out too and speed camera warnings often occur too late.

Great for actually getting to the destination but certainly not if you want to get there hastle free and using the quickest, most up to date route!

I have this Sat Nav, and love it. I find if you set it up 50/50 between shortest and fastest route (in preferences) it takes the logical route. I tested it round my neck of the woods and it choose all the local shortcuts. Also used it in France in July, worked a treat - Top notch piece of Kit............... £50 is a bargain

Airdrie morrisons had these cheaper i think. Also had some Zen mp3 players for about £25. a 32" tv for £200. and toshiba sat pro for 200. some good deals the now.

When, oh when, will Morrisons go online?

I live nowhere near one and have no intention touring round stores.

Sort it out
