good find howard.neal and welcome to HUKD

Nice just got 2 from my Local store thanks.

I've got an F20, and use it occasionally for weekend trips. Are these Traffic Packs any good? Does anybody own one and had chance to give it a good test yet? Cheers.

Good price.

...and now one of them's on ebay! Quick work!!

My local Staples had none on display and the sales assistant assured me that they had none in stock. I asked him to check with the manager and she found one in the storeroom. When she checked the price her comment was "oh, that's a bargain isn't it? Pity it's the last one!".

Thank you Howard.Neal for your post and for saving me £20 or so.

I dont suppose anyone has a spare for sale my local seems out of stock (its strange because i was looking to buy one of these for my navman f20)!!

I have one of these T1 traffic modules and it is a complete waste of money. It requires a separate FM ariel which is a bit unsightly but, more importantly, it doesn't work very well.

The main problem is that it tells you about problems too late to do anything about them. Also, it is difficult to judge whether it is worth taking a detour to avoid a problem.

Thanks, that's what I expected, especially for a lifetime free subscription after purchase.

The only thing worse than no traffic data would be incorrect traffic data. If it's not reliable almost all the time, then it's probably just a waste.

Tried Staples in Southend-On-Sea, they said they do not and have never stocked it. I asked salesman to check and he came back with the same answer.

I've had a Navman N20 for about a 10 months now and considered getting the T1 Module back then. However at full price it didnt justify the expense. The initial reviews on Amazon were very bad as well. However.....if you buy this product knowing its limitations then at £30 its a bargain.

Admittedly it wont be good at telling you about an incident that happened 5mins ago but surely its not bad if something has happened about 30 mins away. Plus the recent reviews on Amazons have been very positive. See

I couldnt find one in London around where i live so i phoned around and found one at Leicester!! Got my brother in law to pick it up who lives 5 mins away plus he had to come to London this morning anyway ...hes just dropped it off. Result. Thanks howard.neal:thumbsup:

Got N30 with Traffic Module included, I bought this especially for the T module and free subscription.... used it twice and now sits permanently in the glove box.
A bit fiddly, but most importantly, if it shows a problem while you are driving, especially on the motorway, you cannot start fiddling with it to read the description of the problem to make a decision, and ask it to reroute you...

Or if you opt to be redirected automatically if there is a problem the information is not reliable.
I got in the middle of what was identified as a traffic problem and there was nothing there, other times there were queues and nothing on the T module.

I would not recommend it.

Hi, I have one of these for my F20. I wouldn't leave home without it. I make regular trips to and from Denmark Hill, London from Dartford area. On one trip it decided to take me via Croydon and onto a23. I was not in a rush so thought "what the hell". My normal 10 mile journey came up at 42 miles - CRAZY you say. No, I actually done the journey in less than an hour. It has taken me over 2 via the short route. I later found out there had been an accident in Lewisham and New Cross, my normal route. For back roads it's great. For motorways, it's a long way between junctions and anything can happen in the time it take to travle it. Tell me a traffic system that can predict an accident!!!
