Nice tie.

The review is the dumbest one I've read this week.

Moss bros is a rip off. This cannot be washed as it is silk so another negative. Can buy from similar washable tie from primark for £2 or from Sam's 99p for £ 1.

Washable but are they silk? I can tell you any decent suit/tie is not meant to be washed on a regular basis (water/dry clean) because it destroys the material. Look after your equipment and it looks after you.

Nobody is giving you a half decent paying job if you rock up in Primark (or less) garbage.

80s retro, I like it

If you have too much money to buy single use items made of silk, linen and wool, good for you. But think of the environment. The polyester ties look better than silk and do not get stained if going to party or dinner. Better wear a clean washed tie, than a tie you cannot wash and full of bad smelling bacteria and needs ironing . Just because the price is cheaper does not mean the item is bad quality. Some people have more money than brains and love the emperors new clothes rather than real clothes for real people.

Yes. The tie in the picture confirms that buying a silk tie guarantees that you'll look smart and thereby walk into any job in high finance.

Environment. You know silk is from silk worms cocoons where as polyester is from fossil fuels right?
I have 40 ties, mostly silk and only 2 - 4 of them goes to the dry cleaners once a year due to me inadvertently writing on it with a pen.
You don't iron silk ties. They should be stored in a tie rack or rolled up.

Good luck

That means you are wearing dirty silk tie every day carrying all the bacteria and germs even though it does not look dirty like dirty hands after going to toilet may not not look dirty but full of germs . I have large number of ties as well , few silk but I stopped buying silk ones because silk is so fragile and gets dirty so fast. It's waste of money to dry clean ties as it is cheaper to buy one, than to pay for dry cleaning silk. I love wearing a tie but hate wearing dirty or smelling clothes.

My ties don't smell. Maybe a reason for you to investigate. You sure it isn't a case of "buy it cheap, buy it twice" affair?

Forgot to mention I have many ties from M&S, Burton, next, matalan, H&M, topman apart from Primark. They all sell washable ties. So definitely not cheap but brand does not matter as the brand does not show on a tie.

You're not working in any field requiring clear communication skills or a firm grasp of English it seems though.
