NBA League Pass, for less than half price

If there are any NBA fans out there who usually buy league pass (so you can watch every game, live or on demand) then I have a treat for you. Usually costing £150, I have managed to buy it for just £70 using a Canadian VPN. Basically just change your ip address using Free VPN network to a canadian server and then purchase for $140 Canadian dollars which works out at around £70. Amazing discount and saved me a good £80.

Great find. Picture is wrong..
do you get all games? do you need to keep using the VPN to watch the games?
They'll be subject to blackouts, unlike an international subscription. Won't work on iPhone/iPad either due to location services.

Apologies and please correct me if I'm wrong?

Yes you get all the games and no you just need to use the vpn to buy it at the start and then go back to your usual ip address and it's back to normal! I had a subscription last year, so already had an account which knows I'm from London and it still worked

Because you go back to normal internet after you buy it this is actually wrong. I have an android phone and it's working perfectly on my phone. Also no blackouts as well for the same reason. Switch VPN for 5 mins, buy it, go back to your normal one and then it's as if you bought from the uk!
"Which markets are affected by Blackouts?

Blackouts currently apply in Canada, where games will be available on demand as soon as the game is processed for archiving, shortly after the game has concluded.

You can find a list of blacked out games here:

"Also in Canada you will not be able to access the All Star Weekend, live Playoffs or NBA Finals on the NBA app as it will be shown on TV in Canada. "

The question is, do the blackouts apply to those with Canadian subscriptions or only subscribers accessing from Canadian IPs?

It will just be Canadian IPs. I bought my League Pass through the Singapore NBA Store last year. Once I logged on via the website/iPad/XBox everything was as if I had bought the account in the UK.

Yes, I know that can be done. However Canada is singled out for Blackouts on the FAQ (they don't apply to Singapore, or any other country you might choose to buy from). this is why I'm asking If other differences apply.

No it acts as if you have bought it from the UK. It's literally just to buy it from Canada but when you switch, they remember you as a UK customer, no blackouts apply! I watched the Celtics raptors game last night live!
Amazing offer! Yes using a VPN can get you NBA League Pass at a lower price and i guess it can also help you overcome blackouts. I used a VPN and changed my IP to South Africa, and got the league pass $110.
Great deal - i bought from an Indian Proxy (turned off proxy before pressing submit to protect debit card details after landing on the site. Card details also already loaded into account and not entered through the proxy) for around £76 after currency fee's. No blackouts in India and account works with Android & Xbox one apps with no issues at all. No Proxy or VPN to watch as the International League Pass is the same product wherever you are in the world, just different price tags.
