Nearly 16? Use the trains? How to get child prices for a bit longer...

Just noticed this on the Network Railcard site...

"What happens if my child turns 16 during the validity of my Family Railcard?
Children who become 16 years of age during the validity of the Family Railcard are still entitled to the discounted child fare, throughout the validity period of the Railcard."

So getting a railcard can allow you to travel cheap for a bit longer...

(normally £24 but a quid if you have an annual season ticket as per an earlier posting, or 50% using the code elsewhere during jun/jul 08)
