A number of 2016 plate Citreon C4 Cactus Diesel Hatchback 1.6 Bluehdi Flair 5Dr [Non Start Stop] in the range from £8799 to £9599, all with less than 18000 miles on the clock and just about all with a saving of more than 10K on the new price and over 20 months manufacturers warranty remaining. Seemed like a good deal to me!.

18,000 miles is hardly 'newly new', that's like calling a teenager a newborn.

Had a 72 hour test drive. Was as bad as it looks.
Does anyone know where this company gets their vehicles from? Seem to have some good deals.
I would hazard a guess that there are ex rental fleet.

Only been to a Motorpoint branch once, in Birmingham about a year back. I was looking for a very specific vehicle, with full service history and intended to be keeping it for a number of years. Saw the ad, and I rang them - they claimed they had it there, so I made the 50 mile round trip journey.

The experience was an odd one - first they didn't have the vehicle claimed to be there at that branch it was miles away and they wanted me to spend money getting it moved there (£200 If I remember rightly!) so I could see it, it had never ever been there in the first place either as far as I could tell. Secondly the claimed service history wasn't verifiable, they were very evasive about it - so whether or not the remaining manufacturer's warranty was still viable or not was a mystery. When I did enquire further about having it moved, it turned out to be actually not at another branch, but out getting bodywork done... again like the service history, not at a manufacturer's approved workshop, but at one of theirs, so bang goes the corrosion warranty. Overall it felt like a mixture of high pressure sales yet no-one was actually bothered! Hapy to eb leaving, not happy to have been lured there though.

I would ask lots of questions and make sure you are getting what you think you are buying

Soon found what I wanted at main dealer for much the same price, less than 1000 miles (instead of the tens of thousands of miles and iffy service record) and no bodywork repairs either with years of the verifiable manufacturer's warranty remaining.

Pretty much what I deduced when I visited
Possibly ex rental at this mileage, ask to see the log book.
They used to import stock from Cyprus, as that is another RHD market. Not sure if that is still the case , but if it is, it may mean that they aren't UK spec:{
So far bought 3 cars from this company. Very smooth and great deals. Will get my next car from them without a doubt

Agreed - I know that they also import from Malta and the car I was interested in had a non-UK spec plus the warranty issue was unclear!

Truly awful car is the worst car I've ever seen or driven.
We bought a one year old one of these as a practical choice. Obviously ex rental cars. Took a while to get one with leather split folding seats. Went for the 110bhp petrol as it had more low rev usable torque than the diesel. We live in a hilly town and have a four-up commute. Plenty of interior space for the class. Disappointing fuel consumption compared to published rates, despite mild driving habits. Generally happy owner, though. Currently renting a similar Fiat 500L on holiday, hating it.
