Where a returned item is exchanged then the exchange will be calculated as follows:
• The returned item may be exchanged on a like for like basis at the Customer Services Desk for a product from the same category and of at least the same value as the Nectar Double up voucher used during the transaction.
• Where the exchanged item is more expensive than the returned item then the difference may be paid by card, cash or Nectar points at their usual value ie 500 Nectar points = £2.50
• Where the exchanged item is at least as expensive as the value of the Nectar Double up voucher but cheaper than the returned item then the balance will be refunded using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.

Where an item is returned as unwanted, then the refund will be calculated as follows:
• The value of the Nectar Double Up voucher will be refunded to your Nectar card in Nectar points at its pre Nectar Double Up value eg 1000 Nectar points exchanged during the promotion for a £10 Nectar Double Up voucher will be refunded as 1,000 points (worth £5) on to your Nectar card. Alternatively, for operational reasons we may at our discretion refund the pre Nectar Double up value onto a Sainsbury's gift card.
• Any cash balance will be refunded using the same method of payment used for the original transaction.

For anyone with an Amex membership rewards card - you can swap your membership points for Nectar points

catalogue.membershiprewards.co.uk/vie…441

Videogames weren't included last year. Will hopefully find something to spend them on.

Just a heads up guys, on Friday 24th November, Guardians of the Galaxy and Dawn of The Planet of the Apes are released, so you'll be able to get them half price with this

Hmm, £30 toward GTA 5 PS4? Tempting.

Thanks I have been keeping an eye out for this x

Have some heat... been waiting for this for a while and it's actually on decent categories, Thanks.

Thanks OP will keep tabs on this

You just know the fascists will have a toy promotion that ends the day before this. Literally no toys will be discounted, in fact they'll probably raise the price on lego. I've seen this too often before with sainsburys and nectar.

I have £30 of nectar points that have accumulated from my British gas acc, will I still be able to use them! I'm the t&cs it says you must have used your card instore in the last 12 months?

Sorry for typos

I was just about to post this! good spot!

Buy a newspaper instore then?

The small print (terms and conditions) suggests 'Electricals' are included but it's not showing on the 'poster'?

That's what is was thinking, can't find my card so have requested a replacement one, hope it gets here in time!

I have a shedload of points that need using up (c.£160 worth) so was also looking for the electricals on the poster but nope, not there.
Best bet will be to go into store on day, find what you want to buy then go to the desk and get the relevant vouchers, as they are not refundable after the expiry date.
Shame limited to £20 per category though - will have to do a bit of planning to see the best way of getting the most from them. Wonder if you can use linked cards to get 2 X vouchers?

Why do they have to be such tight-**** with the max £20 per category per transaction. Note to Sainsburys, Tesco don't have this limit.

Nectar points are so awful compared with clubcard points. £20 cap? What a load of crap

Last time got some sale children's clothing. Thanks for the heads up.

Wraith, you've given me hope! Only found out I had £30 worth of points a few days ago so super excited!

Hopefully they think it's not necessary to list all Electrical items as they should be self explanatory, i.e. does it work using batteries or direct electric supply.

Drjog, I'm sure most people would be pretty chuffed finding out that they can double £30 worth of points into £60 in vouchers. Especially when they had only just realised the points was there in the first place.

Maybe people are only allowed to get excited about buying the newest xbox of ps4 game here?

Sainsburys recently closed down their main non-food website meaning their electrical goods are now quite limited to small kitchen appliances. I was looking for something last week and clicked on one of the deals on here and got a warning page apologising for the site no longer being available.
"We no longer sell online...
As part of this change, some non-food lines have been discontinued, and the non-food website has closed.

We no longer sell furniture , TVs , tablets and computers , vacuum cleaners and microwaves online. However, you can still buy some of these items in our larger stores. Check the Store Locator for a guide to those stores that still sell TVs and microwaves.

If you have a query about a previous order or you’d like any information about our returns policy please visit our Help Centre or call our Customer Contact Centre on 0800 328 1700 . If the item(s) you have recently ordered no longer appear on the website please be assured that your item(s) will be delivered to you as normal. You can view your current and previous orders in “My Account”.

Must have missed this last year!
I don't ever find anything to spend my Nectar points on. Got a fair bit saved up.

What great timing, discovered I had £60 points last night and didn't really see much to spend them on. Now £120 will almost cover all my Xmas stuff fingers crossed!

Good spot. Didn't know they had ceased an online electrical presence - shame because they jad some good deals occasionally.
Think I might be spending these points, and then convert over to Morrisons for shopping which is next nearest - Tesco and Asda miles away.
