Great news
NB: these don't have an on/off switch so if you leave the battery in them (switched off) it still drains the battery. Very annoying feature if you forget.

(edit - clarified my point in post below ... my post was poorly worded. There is an off/off button -- you can turn off the light by pressing in the dial, but it still drains battery whilst 'off')

Aside from that, these are great little lights

Hmm mine must be slightly different then because mine does have an off on switch next to the light strength wheel.

I have 2 different versions of this NEEWER light
Model PT-176S and PT-176 (purchased June 2018 and May 2019)
both with same flaw

Yes - if you press in the brightness wheel it turns off the light, but it still drains power from the battery in this 'off' position.
You need to remember to remove the battery or else when you come back to it will be flat.
I think (from memory) if you fully charge the NEEWER 2600mAh NP-F550 battery you can expect ~4 hours of use at full brightness

Thanks Op

I’ve been umming about one of these for the training videos I create. Can’t justify the price of the Elgato one but at this price it’s worth a go!

I've given you heat (from my house burning down) as I've been after one of these at a good price .
Never used a light During photography before but with winter around the corner and the orange filter I thought I may as well buy one for using around the forest!
code still working fine! heat added!
Bought one - doesn't work so having to send back
Received mine. Seems like a nice bit of kit. Incredibly bright at full power, easy to use. Great for the price.
I got mine today. It's great. I tried to buy another but the code doesn't seem to work.
