Good deal. Voted hot. Samsung ovens in my opinion are batter and around the same price
Many a cry heard across the land by frustrated cooks : "has anybody seen the oven door? I've lost it."
Same deal everywhere if people don’t like to buy from curry’s. Marks Electrical - Neff oven offer

A few months ago we bought a single fitted oven from Currys (using up a gift card). Got it home, fitted it (plug in type), it was faulty - the thermal cut-out would kick in and shut it down every 10 minutes.

Took it back to the store within 2 hours of buying it. Their response was... "Hmmm, we've never seen that before, you'll have to take it home and we'll send an engineer around... No, it's faulty, I want a refund..."Well we haven't got any room to keep it here at the store"

After another 10 minutes they refunded it and we bought one from Co-op Electrical (cheaper) and better. Delivered the next day.

TL:DR = Currys are cringeworthy when there's an issue. It's like taking something back to a market stall.

A 4% discount doesn't really cancel the Currys effect oiut - not voted either way.
i just bought the BEKO Select BXIF35300X Electric Oven (82 litres) was on sale for £200 for Easter got the guy in shop to give me £30 off. so cost me £170. good little over with large capacity (old oven was around 60 litres).

Only had it for about a week but so far so good.

Great you got a refund. I previously purchased a 55" lg TV with them. Got it home pulled the tape ready to take it out the box and my partner had seen a deal inline from another site the newer 55" lg with better spec at about £250 cheaper.

I put the tape back on (hadn't even taken it out the box) took it back and they wouldn't refund me as they decided it was no longer new and could not sell it on.

I argued with the staff against the decision for about 45 to an hour untill I had to speak with the manager then I eventually got refunded.

My mother had a microwave from them asking had it a few days and it packed up. Because she no longer had the box they wouldn't not refund her.

Wouldn't never give them my custom again. No wonder they will go down the pan with the likes of Maplin and toys r us.

Refunds at other retailers are so stright forward compared the these.
cool =)
Also an extra 8% of through Quidco

I wouldn't buy Neff again either for much the same reason. Two Neff ovens proved unreliable (and apart from that the accuracy of the thermostat was appalling) and Neff were awful to deal with.
We bought one 6 months ago from the Coop (joined for £1 for the discount) for about the same price.
Easy to fit and wire in and after getting used to it it has been faultless.
Its an investment in tools for life so if you like cooking well worth the cost.
I can’t get the curry’s £50 discount with that code . Any one had any luck
This sin't a deal? Where's the deal?

Who would you go for these days? Fed up of my three year old Beko that has had multiple issues develop after the first year and neither the retailer nor the manufacturer would deal with (won't touch a Beko again!) so looking for something that has at least a few years of reliability in it. My previous budget New World fan oven lasted fifteen years before we replaced it with the bloody Beko that conveniently went wrong after the first year. ...!
Paid £479 for it a few days ago to be delivered on Weds. Is it possible to get the £20 discounted?

Voted HOT. I ordered the Neff gas hob also @ £189. Got £100 off in total for both items from Currys using code and will get another £100 for both from NEFF on the promotion. Final price for both Oven and Hob will be £452. £4.59 tracked via quidco.
Cant complain at NEFF kit at those prices. Thank you hotstuffbuyer

We switched to Miele - it's in a different league altogether. More expensive, certainly, but hugely better quality, infinitely more reliable, built to last, and much better for a serious cook (not me - the wife!). The Neff was more suited to reheating than cooking, and frankly the microwave was better at it, and more reliable.

why not just cancel the order and reorder?

I am really surprised at all these negative Neff comments, got one in the Comet closing down sale Ex-display and it's only issue has been the light bulb going and that was a 5min fix.

NEFF is a good, solid German brand. They're highly regarded for the engineering quality in their products. Certainly not the lower end of the spectrum.

I was thinking about this only yesterday, I reckon the answer is one of either...

A) The training is non-existent and staff haven't got a clue about consumer rights or the correct way to treat people

or

B) The training is excellent and the staff know all about consumer rights and how to avoid adhering to them.
I paid £369 a month ago for the non-slide and hide version, with a discount code on the Curry's website. Happy with that
RichSturman1 h, 54 m ago

Got it thanks. BI meaning built in

That was my guess too!

Thanks for the Quidco comment - had already checked TCB at 2% and was lazily not going to check Quidco expecting it to be the same - lesson learnt !!

Which neff model did you have

H2566BP - only around £630 in 2016 (before all the Brexit price increases kicked in). Around £750 now. Faultless, and way, way better than the Neffs we've had, in every respect.

I would go for either Miele (as someone else has mentioned) or Siemens but if they are a bit too pricey then Bosch but I also think it comes down to luck of the draw as no doubt there will be people that have had problems with all these brands at some point whereas others won't...I went from a Budget priced oven to a Bosch last year and what a difference although had various disasters as kept forgetting that the Bosch actually cooked things in the estimated time unlike my previous oven that would've struggled to so much as heat a pancake...yes think I also realised that I'd got really old being so excited about an oven

In saying all that the best oven I've had was the Siemens one that was in our built in kitchen when we moved into our house...was fantastic until the door came off in my hand...unfortunately it wasn't a case of it sliding anywhere like the Neff it quite literally came off in my hand...guess I just don't know my own strength

Neff are owned by Bosch and many of the components are shared.

That said, reading this thread

Beko - one of the better budget brands.
Neff/Bosch/Siemens - decent mid price brand.
Miele - good quality products if you have the money (and money for the parts when they go wrong).

You can't write a brand off because one person on the internet had a bad experience, these companies sell millions of appliances a year and it is almost guaranteed that a few hundred people will have a nightmare. Likewise Currys. For me I had a faulty Bosch dishwasher. Engineer out within one day. Couldn't be repaired, replacement with new 2 year guarantee two years later. Can't complain.

Is Brexit also responsible for Meile ovens becoming Neff's - or perhaps Remainers becoming dyslexic? :-)
Im guessing if you use the code you cant get half price installation?
Currys are the same company as Dixons. I wouldn't touch Dixons with a barge pole and because of this I wouldn't touch Currys either. They have the worst record for sticking to consumer law of all the major retailers. If anything is wrong they will tell you your rights are different from what consumer law is. They also always used to not be interested in selling you anything unless you took out their insurance policy, I'm not sure if they are still doing this since PPI claims came about, but they certainly used to.

Sorry for for delayed reply, just saw your note. I copied and pasted the code, looks like someone has spotted this above. The code should be BI50 ( B, I for INDIA, 5 and ZERO ).
It seems to have gone up by £11 but still a bargain so I've taken the plunge. Thanks for sharing. The code worked and I'm hoping the Quidco comes through.
