    Does anyone know what the 'wire' thing is inside the box? About 30cm long, with one wound circular endm and the other end a 'triangle'? Pics online show it inside the oven but not sure as to to it's purpose. No mention in the manual i can see.

    Assuming you don't already have an existing gas cylinder then eBay/Gumtree/Facebook marketplace is your best bet to buy one (they will probably be empty). Will save you about £30 on the cost to buy one from the normal outlets, then add on the cost of the gas - approx £35 - £40 for an 13Kg refill.
    Alternatively try your local recycling depot aka the dump. You might get a someone you lets you have a cyclinder free

    Has anyone had theirs delivered yet? (I notice it mentions next day delivery on the listing)

    Just wondering it it gets delivered in a blank cardboard box or just as it is. The person this is for is more than likely going to be in when it gets delivered and I don't want the surprise spoiled if I can help it.

    I got my despatch notification on my two this morning but unless you chose and paid the extra for next day shipping I think its shipped with Yodel so who knows when it will arrive! High chance it's just a label slapped on the box so if it's a gift try to intercept it when it gets delivered.

    Raging! I had one successfully delivered to my Sister but mine has sat with Yodel since the 6th. I got through to online chat and was told as it has been sat at the depot over 7 days then "as per process" it will be returned to sender! Argh! Why not just... Err... Deliver it! Yodel are the biggest joke of a company! Hoping the seller will ship it back out to me... With a different courier! Gutted if after all this I end up not getting mine!

    Great news! I messaged Neo Outlet with a sob story and explaining how I'd helped them sell over 300 units with a link to this deal! They had a dig around the warehouse and found one for me! Went with Yodel again but its turned up today! Just in time for Xmas pizza! 😝

    Anyone know what type of gas cylinder we’re going to need?
    I’ve got an old 13kg butane and a 3.9kg propane and the regulator supplied with the pizza oven doesn’t fit either - I’m thinking it’s probably the green patio gas cylinder? (Which will prob cost as much as the pizza oven did!) (edited)

    Yes believe the regulator supplied is for a green patio gas/leisure gas cylinder. Just swap it over with a compatible one you already have for about a tenner.

    Just wanted to say, have used this oven on two occasions so far now and I absolutely love it. Works well, gets very hot (I've recorded a 532C reading once, but this is hotter than needed) and quickly enough. Only downside is that the peel that's included is t i n y. Otherwise no issues. Hope others who received are also enjoying.

    Great to hear! I've used mine once and the dough burnt before the mozzarella had browned so need to dig out my infrared thermometer and get the temp better dialled in. I'm going to splash out on a decent large peel and a smaller 7" peel for turning as it cooks.

    I just got the Ooni from Lakeland, they have an offer on at the moment with the cover / carry bag for £230 and the same day I was emailed a 20% off voucher so got it for £184.

    I don’t see the point of getting a gas one, as you may as well just cook in the oven.

    First burn, they recommend doing at least 40mins on the ooni before first use so just trying that today. The build seems decent, although the actual gas/ignition seems a bit cheap.

    Looks like there’s end odd weld in the far left corner that’s looking different when it’s being heated but who knows if that’s a problem or not.

    The ignition is the real issue with the cheaper made pizza ovens.....as long as you use it enough over the next 10 months,just return if it fails

    Can I just say thanks again for this deal (can't believe you didn't get yours - stupid yodel - glad you managed to get one in the end!). Pizzas made for 4 last weekend and this evening - they are sooooo bloomin good! I used ooni's dough recipe, threw the ingredients into my breadmaker in the morning and let it do its thing. Then I left it to prove through the day and made the bases in the evening. Also watched the ooni YouTube video on how to make the bases and we managed to get some pretty decent-looking pizzas on the first go, even the kids (11 & 9)! Really chuffed with the results! Well on the way to paying for itself already

    Thanks! So pleased so many of us grabbed one! Shame a few still did lose out due to the awful Yodel service. Hopefully it comes back in to stock. I've not yet had time to get mine running but I've just picked up a Kenwood mixer to help make the dough. What toppings have you tried on yours ? And what have you used for the pizza sauce?

    A pizza stone is completely different to a actual Pizza oven. Whilst it cooks nice enough pizzas you won't get the authentic Italian style pizzas.
