I've been using this camera for about 5 months now and have been very impressed. I believe the RRP is now £30

I wanted one of there, it looks great. However in the reviews so many people say that it asks for too much data about yourself when you set it up.

I also think I remember seeing these at less than £10 on eBay.

Those comments are old. You only need to give your address if you want to auto activate when leaving home.

The price is about to go up, £20 posted is good for these.

So have you bought one recently? What mandatory things did it ask you for?

I'm trying to save money but you are going to make me buy one of these now. Haha

It's unlikely it would be a genuine Neos for a tenner. Neos and Wyze use the same camera from Xiaomi but the shoes and firmware are different. If you can get Wyze, get Wyze.
I have one and its good for the money to check in on dogs etc. The retail price is increasing to £29.99 soon so this and the Currys price yesterday is good
I have this set up in my garage, very good little camera. Just get a memory card for it and your sorted.
Neos are cheap and easily available but they're putting their prices up to £29.99. At that point there will be little excuse to get these over importing the Wyze cams. Yes they're the same camera but overall reliability and functionality feels better with Wyze. Neos doesn't work with Google but you can't get the Wyze skill for Alexa on UK devices. I recently bought the Imou ranger 2 with a code that they're offering out on Facebook and got it for under £30. It's far better than Wyze or Neos imo and works perfectly with Google and Alexa. It's great there is so much choice at such low price points.

I think basic registration asks for name, email address and phone number. Phone number is not mandatory.

Address is required so it can set a bubble around your house, when when your phone leaves the bubble, the system is armed when you leave to automatically trigger movement alerts (which you probably don't want when you're home).

I have a few of these, last bought one around Christmas time.
I've got these. The software app is very good and easy to use. However the image quality is much lower than the Yi and Xiaomi cameras which are similarly priced. Upside is that these are Alexa compatible. You can also buy waterproof enclosures for these

Pretty happy with mine. Software is good and they are the only company to my knowledge that offers lifetime cloud storage for free.
The software for these used to be rubbish and I voiced that many times on here, it's much better now though and the ,£2.49 a month subscription is also well worth having, ordered another to keep an eye on my fishtank
These are excellent devices BUT I received an email from Neos saying they're increasing the price to £29.99 in the next few days. For £19.99 they offer excellent video in daylight but night view is not great and you don't need a subscription unless you want extended video footage. These will notify movement and 'new' sound on your mobile device so for the price, they are great.
I got one to test a few weeks ago and i will be getting a couple more .
Does everything i need it to , and well at that .
Not being able to view recordings that are on the SD carder from within the app is a dealbreaker for me. Got the TP Link Tapo which does this for the same price. Sent these back.
Thanks for posting. I already have one of these and got the recent cost increase notice to £29. Bought 2.

Have some heat
