Same camera, different firmware and apps only. So depending on which back company you want to deal with more. £19 vs £49.
Anyone used this, is it any good and can the app take multiple cameras? Thanks
Reading the reviews it seems that during setup you have to give your phone number, full address and geolocation. Just thought that was worth noting for the people wearing tin foil hats (of which I'm one) as it could pose a significant privacy/security issue.
Can't be bothered checking specs, what's IPS on this?
Will it work wit this system?

They charge £4.99 delivery. So if you have amazon prime you’re saving on that

Only you have to pay £4.99 postage on top so not the standard price including P&P.

If anyone has the old camera as part of their insurance, if you ring Neos they will send you the new style camera free of charge.

I never entered a number and only road name and it works fine, the address is required for geolocation.

No longer have to give your address. Geolocation is optional but necessary for auto arming and disarming.

Okay. That doesn't sound too bad then. May order a couple now. Thanks for the info
I'm getting one of these for mine amazon.co.uk/dp/…PGVBTW I have a couple of YI cams which are better, app is way better as you can schedule and access the video it records throughout the day, these ones you cannot, only by popping the card and reading in PC plus there is no desktop app whereas the YI have one which can be useful.
Do these work with Google home and viewable over chromecast?

They have changed this now so is doesn't require your details in the latest update.
I have 2 of these NEOS cams and they are very good. Although technically not recommended for outdoor use, if you buy THIS (which currently is reduced to £9.34 on a lightening deal, plus you get another 5% off with Apply Voucher button,) then this case is actually good at protecting the cams from the elements.

same conclusion I've come to, I've got he YI camera and one of the NEOS cameras
Both are great, but for me the YI has the better recording and desktop app as you say, but then the NEOS camera can display on an Alexa Show screen. if the YI camera could do Alexa show then it would win hands down for me.

I thought that however how often would you do that, I did it a few times initially but I didnt see the point as the cam is in my office :/ Potentially if/when I move it outside may be more useful but you would need to be in the same house at the time and by a FireTV or show with the right version (one with voice commands only old sticks dont work).

Using THIS thru my attic into an internal plug.
Also, you can "daisy chain" these as well, with a USB into the rear then into the rear of another cam. I have 2 internally connected like that so it only uses 1 power supply for 2 cams.
It depends on the set up you have really, if you have an Amazon Fire tablet, the modern ones have show mode built in, and if you have an Echo show or Echo spot again they show on that.
For me, its a cheaper option than having a ring video door bell, especially using the outdoor camera enclosure listed above. It also make a great baby monitor - take your tablet from room to room whilst the camera stays in the babys nursery.

I'm thinking of buying the new echo show 5 that was launched this week to replace my echo spot.

These come often so not to worry if you missed out this time. 20 quid is about right.

For those perhaps a little more enterprising, they do run dafang.
I'm still on the waitlist ...
Showing as full price for me even though I have prime. Anyone else have the same issue?
Got one of these for free when I signed up for Neos home insurance. Sadly the sale on the property fell through and cancelled the insurance but got to keep the camera. It’s wide angled so captures a lot in the view. The night mode is really good and you can clearly see everything in the room with the lights turned off. Compared to my yi dome this is the better camera.
V good image quality, but useless 10 second clip length and long cooldown.

Useless if using as a security camera as a result.
