Low-self discharge rechargeables are the way to go, mate. I use the Lidl Eco-Tronic ones with these and no problems.
Got them last time at this price.
Good deal
We’ve got two sets of this. Brilliant game. You can tell the guns to act as two teams vs each other, or there’s another game where it’s every player for themselves. Limited “ammo” with reload function and it’s multiple hit, about 5 hits to get a kill IIRC.

The best thing for us is that there is no clearing up of bullets which is a barrier to a quick NERF battle.

The range on them is excellent too. Obviously they are just glorified TV remote controls working on IR pulses, but they work well.

Kids are age 8 and 6 and it’s perfect for them and I can imagine will still be loved when they are older.

Oh and they make full sound effects too, you can’t pretend not to be killed as it’s so loud when it happens.

Brilliant toy 10/10 from us!
I picked these up when they were £18 and they were well worth the money. Fantastic fun, might pick up another set at this price! Just don't forget batteries!
Another vote for these. Got two twin packs at Christmas and the boys have got great use out of them.
