Was £13 Fire and strike fast with the Nerf N-Strike Elite Disruptor blaster! This quick-draw blaster has a rotating drum that holds up to 6 Elite darts. Choose your target and fire 1 dart at a time, or unleash all 6 darts in rapid succession with slam-fire action. To prime the blaster, pull the slide back and release. Check the indicator; if it’s orange, the blaster is primed and ready to fire.

The The Nerf N-Strike Elite Disrupter fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters). Includes 6 Elite darts. AGE 8 AND UP

How much of a difference is this to the Strongarm, apart from an increase in distance?

supposedly a disruptor is just a cheaper to make strongarm - same internal gubbinz (so same distance/force) but no flip out cylinder (which means it's easier to load but not as fun to mess around with) and a bit less bulky.

i'd still grab a maverick/strongarm as they are frequently sub-£10 and more fun to mess around with

Heat added (BTW Smyths were giving away packs of 6 NERF darts for free). I went and bought several hundred counterfeit darts and I can tell you now after being hit in the eye that you really should consider buying eye protection if you are going to give these to kids - Screwfix sell safety googles for £1.39. Insist on your kids wearing them if they are going to shoot darts at each other!Oh and I bought the bandiers, clips and vests from ebay, I did pick up a few bandiers from Argos the last time they had a NERF offer on... Can you tell what I got up to over Easter?
