Anyone got one? Decent?

Got one, not really used it properly yet as I'm wanting to change the pedals on it. Otherwise it seems to be pretty solid. The sensor and pulse monitor seems to work well. Can fit my tablet on it to watch something whilst using it without fear of it dropping.
For me the only issue is that the pedals bundled with it are for outdoor use, has jagged metal edges, not friendly for use indoor unless you're wearing shoes. Seen some flat ones on Amazon, waiting for them to arrive.

Nice find
Great spot.
Free after 12 noon on Tuesday?
Looks good, any downsides to this? I am just over 6 ft and have been looking for an indoor bike for a good while.
And, just saying, if ever you come to resell the bike, don’t make the mistake of calling it a “Spinning” bike in any online advert as you will get a cease and desist letter from a US company called Madd Dogg enterprises stating only they have the right to use that term in reference to their particular brand of Spinning bikes.
Happened to me and eBay took down my item due to patent violations
Any reason this bike is £25 more than this one? ebay.co.uk/itm…283
Cheers

I hope you're just mis-remembering this and it wasn't due to patent violations, but hopefully something more relevant like trademark violations... actually, I hope you're not; that would just make the whole thing even more ridiculous.

The flywheel is half the weight on the cheaper one
Can you attach your pedals to this bike?
Tempted thanks
Has anyone actually used this bike and can give honest feedback, I bought one but haven't really used it doesn't really help

It's been listed on hotukdeals before.

Personally I'm going to avoid it on the advice that a flywheel below 16kg should be avoided.

I go on my exercise bike probably 3x a week but my word, is it boring. I found some virtual cycling videos on youtube going through different cities and landscapes in the world which helped, but seen them all now.

In my old gym they were all connected up and you could race each other on screen.
Somebody needs to sell one with an inbuilt screen and simulator or some other exercise related gaming incentive.

Looks interesting. Would need to purchase an actual bike though and £12.99 a month sub.

It depends. Ultimately, you get what you pay for. I have an expensive 20KG flywheel, magnetic resistance, belt-driven bike. It is very quiet, sturdy, and hasn't needed a bit of maintenance in over 5 years of regular use. However, I have just purchased a bike from Amazon for my elderly parents for £75. It has a tiny flywheel which wouldn't be enough for me, but they love it.

Sounds like an anglo-saxon settlement.

I see. I gave away my last one when I moved house, silly me. Still seems a bit pricey to me, it's a shame as that last one I had alos had magnetic resistance but a lot larger than this, a regular exercise bike. Oh well.

The one I got for my parents has magnetic resistance, for £75! But, best for persons who want more of a gentle ride.

Oh what I meant was sorry that this deal seems pricey. If your parents are satisfied then I agree that's a good deal for £75.

Decent magnetic resistance, belt-driven (not chain) bikes tend to start around £500 in my experience. So, yes, when you gave yours away, someone got a bargain.

It only cost me about £70 originally although it was in a sale. It looked like this one.

This design is similar to the one I got for my parents, here. Argos sell it also. However, these types of bikes have tiny flywheels, usually less than 2KG, directly attached to the pedals, so no need for a belt.
Put it in front of a smart tele. Start youtube with a video saying "YOU HAVE SMASHED IT" on repeat and there....you have got yourself a peleton at bargain price!
Looks like a fantastic clothes horse for my bedroom. Just what I’ve been looking for!! 😘
anyone know this bikes clothes drying capacity?

I have been spinning for over five years now - to me it’s all about the motivating music my longest uninterrupted spin class was 4hours in a spin competition (of which I came out as the winner) all thanks to a great playlist from the very motivational instructor. Wouldn’t recommend to copy for health reasons unless you had 3h of individual spin sessions per week for over six months.

Agree. I stick some rock tunes on in YouTube. I don't allow myself a beer unless I do a session. The bike also has to be ready to use, else it simply won't get used.
How is everyone getting this for £123.49? Once the code is entered the price drops to £137.74 for me

I know this sounds kind of weird, but I have to listen to certain tracks which I ride too, to keep me in pace. Mainly old skool dance/club stuff. I'm getting quite bored of the same old music. I also have to have something visual going on, so I watch cycling videos on youtube. I'm thinking of dismantling a game pad, placing a button on each handle of my bike and find some simple game to play to keep my mind busy..
