Of course, it's a matter of personal preference, but I don't think this coffee lives up to its hype or price.
To me, it's weak and wishy-washy. The 'Intenso' version apparently has more punch but I've yet to try it.

Right place for this coffee - still overpriced at 99p I think I'll wait for the sail (2 4 99p)

love this stuff. smoother than most, but still strong enough for me

I've never heard of Sam 99p stores. Is it the same as the regular 99p stores?

Pretty similar, spotted one in Ilford

I agree with other posters here re the wishy washy taste. My missus likes it though. And Sainsburys had their Cappucino sachets at half price recently too and I thought the same of that. Oh well. Then again. I'm not the biggest coffee fan. Giv me Yorkshire or Twinings Everyday.....every day please. Cheers ;-)

I bought a massive 250g tin for £2 a few weeks back from asda

Taste a bit crap, just really lacking in flavour and I can imagine the majority of people who like these will be women who have never tried much, i.e my mum.

Just waiting for a good deal on a machine now since my last one fell into a state of disrepair, fed up of instant cappuccinos. The only one I really like is the Nescafe sachet one, they have recently added a strong and a light variety but the light is lacking in flavour and the strong has a really disgusting bitter taste to it and for some reason neither of the new ones have much froth to them.

Anyone spotted any good deals on machines as of late, apart from the absurd costa tassimo.

Disagree with the negative comments.. I suspect philistines.. (_;)

I find this to be the only drinkable instant coffee.. it hasn't a strongly identifyable flavour - I couldn't tell you where in the world the bean comes from, but it also lacks bitterness (you do NOT use boiling watr with this), is smooth, and produces a crema (of sorts), which none of the others do.. and has a subtle hint of vanilla.. I've tried all the other micro-ground variants and nothing gets close, so always stock up on this when on offer..

I usually use a Moka, which I recommend to people who want a cheap way into "real" coffee.. (Moka is the best coffee, many Italians say) or freshly ground beans in the olde espresso machine.. unfortunately that turns out the odd dud (it's not my tamping skills.. honest!).. when in a hurry this is what I turn to. HOT !
