Voted hot, perhaps worth mentioning in title this is a local deal.
The price is good. I have a different DG model, and apart from the fact the coffee is warm rather than hot (I prefer it this way, but my wife still needs to warm it up in the microwave), I think DG is more economical than Tassimo. Not only the pods are slightly cheaper, but you often find better deals on DG pods and you also have the option to get 3rd party ones for £1-2 a box. Tassimo offers more variety, but their prices are high, the best deal I found was 3 for £10 and only a few pods included in this deal.
Cheap for a reason...

Are u using it correctly? I have this model and did the same thing.. I held the power button to switch on and I believe the light flashed green/orange? This made a "warm" cup.. But just pressing the power button and once power light is solid green its good to use? Coffee is then too hot to drink straight away.. Also we run just the hot water first in the cup to warm the cup up first then add the pod.. Hope that helps

I guess it may be a fault with it, don't know, but I always use it when the green light is solid, not when flashing. Didn't even know it works when the light is flashing.
I had it for about 2 years and this is how it was always. TBH I am not even bothered, as I do not like hot drinks. But my concept of 'hot' is quite different, if I said the drink is warm, it will be rather on the cold side.
I do have a different model, this is mine:

Aldi does some cheap ones, Lidl (Bella Caffe)as well, you can also find some at B&M (Carte Noire is usually £2), Home Bargains, Pound Stretcher, Herron, Fulton has some, sometimes originals short date:

I posted a few links of my previous deals on your previous comment, but if you do a search on hukd, you will find more. Some maybe not available, but it gives you an idea.

When the light is flashing green/orange after a long hold on the power button, the machine is in descale mode.
