It's great coffee - but widely available at this special offer price every month or so in different supermarkets. A few weeks ago it was down to £2.50 a jar at Sainsburys.
is it as strong as the old Gold blend black they used to do?

I don't know as I'm using the smooth version that it's less stronger. I suppose espresso is always a bit strong taste.
It’s only small jar 100g :-(

Looked On-line for 200g and I couldn't find a 200g only on a website pnp.co.za nescafe espresso(not gold).

Maybe they don't have the 200g here?
These "specialist" Nescafes Alta Rica, Cap Columbie etc are nowhere near as good as they were just a few years ago I'm mainly a tea drinker but always enjoyed Cap Columbie - but the last two Ive bought have more in common with cheapie coffee than what USED to be used to make Cap Columbie
I'll not be buying it again. Lidl's is better and I'm not kidding.
Best instant coffee Ihave drunk . Albeit I think they have changed the name

Am buying some of this below coffee for £1 a tin( just bought 6 today) Best flask coffee I have ever bought. £1.50 here, some rating it the same as £4.49 coffees.

I stick to Arabica for its, I think, lower caffeine content. You get more of a kick out of Robusta, thus you also get mixed reviews for this Nescafe.

For the moment yes - The deal price is fine, but don't go crazy and fill your cupboards as it is widely on "special offer" at £2.99/£3 and everynow and then is cheaper that this. I find it rather annoying that (much like dishwasher tablets) I have to wait for the "deals" as it is so overpriced the rest of the time.
