well said! fair trade is better. instant coffee is overpriced! got Polish coffee tins 75g for 39p at B&M Bargains.

£2.50 for 200g at Home bargsins
So 300g comes to £3.75

well you will have to use the whole tin to make yourself something that smells like coffee not to mention the taste ...

Thank you for pointing that out - I'm sure no-one on this thread would have realised that.

I've never been able to taste a difference in these two. I think it might just be a different package for an overseas market? We get 200g for around £2.79 in Semi-chem and The Factory Shop (was £2.49 until recently). They always have the 'Classic' but regularly have the 'Original' version too. Much as I loathe giving money to 'Nestle', they do make the best instant coffee in my opinion and at this price I can afford to feed my caffeine addiction

Tavistock doing same bought up 4 x jars!

Saw these in store but they 100% were the 200g ones, not 300g. I checked the volume, did quick maths and decided not to buy 200g for £3.79 as you can often get 300g for a fiver and that would be cheaper per 100g.
Funny, why is it 200g at my local Lidl (Southend Woodgrange) and 300g for the same price somewhere else?

instant coffee won't be drunk by coffee gourmets so it is all the same, I.e. gravy browning!

picked up 8 jars today so should last us 2 years. cool.

cheers OP.
