First time I've seen this beauty under a tenner. Comes with the (obvious) screws and screwdriver, and is the best looking Pi case I've seen (I invite comments saying otherwise - with photo evidence )

Forgive my ignorance but why do you need the Ethernet? The Pi 3 has wifi.

Always go for a wire if one's available!

I have one, they look good but not practical when you want to use the Ethernet cable. Have to have the front flap open all of the time.
Hot for price though.
Showing as £16.44 for me - amazon have them at £10.85 at the moment

Different case to the one in the OP and doesn't look as "authentic".

Yep, not the cleverest but can be made to exit out the back with a bit of DIY, apart from that, an impressively high quality item for the money.

I guess I can't use the discount code if I checkout with PayPal? Don't want to go too far with the transaction in case I miss something
Clone of the Retroflag maybe or an original possibly. This is a SUPERB deal for a case

If you want to use WiFi, you can. If you have an RPI 2 or earlier, you can’t (without a dongle)....also, a lot of distos are so easy to do with Ethernet.....a PITA with WiFi!

have you created an acct and logged in , then applied the code?

Please login before using any promo code.
I ended up creating an account and using PayPal that way. My initial question was because there's an option to checkout with PayPal without needing to create an account. Figured there would be nowhere to enter the code there.

Got it anyway, although it came out at £10.something
Ordered one finally

Onboard Wi-Fi is terrible on these.
Best option is to go wired if available.
I use my pi for Retropie and kodi.
I tried to use code and it say only valid on orders of £50. Any ideas? ---Now it says can't be used with this promotion 😵

This.

Case is very awesome though. Wifi is ok for loading up with roms. Found it very slow downloading images via scraper.

Just tried again, says oos.....
OP, as you asked I think this is the best case for a raspberry pi, thepihut.com/products/flirc-raspberry-pi-3-b-case. It is machined aluminium, looks classy, case acts as a heatsink so you can overclock pi. The one in your deal looks like a cheap plastic mini copy of a classic console.

Got it now, thanks. Dont know what was happening there 😵 Heat added btw 🏻
Where do you enter the code. I cannot see it at all

Edit: no probs - got it. Cheers! My boy'll b happy

Well this is just a case for the Pi mate. But as far as I am aware yes, the SF30 is compatible with the Raspberry Pi

This case has a certain geek cache, it can't be denied, but does it offer anything other than (subjective) aesthetics over the official case that can be had for less than £5?

Cheers dude, appreciated
I have a Pi 3 in a standard red lidded case.

Is it easy to take it out and put it in this one for a total novice?

I'm not tech minded at all and bought a fully loaded Pi from ebay, so I would just like a nicer shell.

Advice if poss from anyone on here in the know, as I would love to buy this little case, it looks awesome!

Thanks in advance!
Just tried to get the discount, i'm logged in, but get the following:
"Error, this promotion code has frequency of use restrictions."
So might have expired.
Make sure you get heatsink, a dual fan kit or a fan for the lid because this case does make the pi overheat

Very easy. There are a few guides on YouTube to show you specifically how to do it

So it's pretty straightforward? It's just that it works perfectly at the mo and I worry I'll just mess it up!

Is it effectively just take the current board out and place it in the new one, or do I have to do any sort of wiring?

Any particular vid on youtube to look for? Sorry to ask so many questions, it's just that this little thing would look cool under the telly, but I can't afford to mess it up!
Love it - best deal this week
thanks for this

I'm getting the same. Will keep trying for a bit every now and then to see if it works again.
