Great value for the best coffee pod machines on the market - thanks heat added

Got one last time this offer was on, £60 with a £40 voucher and 15 capsules included in the box.id recommend for anyone.

Hot from me, ace

Brilliant, been waiting for this for ages

Well found! I've been waiting for this offer to come back as I need a new machine. I'd say John Lewis is the cheapest place to buy one at the minute... They have the orange pixie, the cream citiz and the black U models on offer at the moment. My Essenza model died last week so I spoke to a guy in technical support at nespresso regarding the most reliable machine that they currently sell... He said the pixie was the machine with the fewest problems so it's one of those for me.

Great deal. Highly recommend Nespresso.

My Aeroccino's just failed though - the widget inside has stopped spinning, any known fixes for that?

How did you find the aeroccino before it failed?

My Essenza model died last week .

How long did you have it before it broke? I'd hope a £60 coffee machine would last a few years at least.

I read somewhere that the Pixie is made in Switzerland, whereas the other models are made in China and Hungary.

legend. thanks.
john lewis have the essenza with frother for £100, comes down to £30
or the pixie, which comes in at £130 --> £60 for the aluminium.
the coffee's the same, just the features slightly different
i'm going for the essenza.

It was great - very effective, and to be fair it got a lot of use for the 3 years before it played up.

I had my Essenza for five years so I got a fair amount of use out of it. Nespresso do offer 20% off a new machine if you give them your old one but it's cheaper to buy a new one from John Lewis.

Hold the horses! I clicked the link takes me to promo page. Can someone edit the post and explain how this works.
Do I have to buy machine first and then click the link? Where do I get the Member Number? Or do I get a card when buying new machine?

You can download the form from the John Lewis site. Search for nespresso machines and then just click on the red offer link and it will ask you if you want to download the application form. It's the same form for £40 or £70 vouchers. To get a voucher you need to be a member of the Nespresso club which you can join for free by calling them on their free phone number or joining online. Once joined you will receive a membership number which must be entered on to your voucher claim form along with the 19 digit machine code which will be attached to the machine that you buy. Finally, you will have to submit a copy of your receipt with the claim form to get the voucher. Nespresso say this will be posted to you within four weeks.

Bang on, However in my experience the credit never arrived and I had to chase up, They then added it onto my account.

Tempted to pick one of these up for a christmas gift, but who for?

Can we use the gift card to purchase coffee capsules or only the machines?

I bought capsules with it the last time this offer was on.

thanks, this deal just got even better!

Just bought at crups Nespresso Citiz from Amazon. £150 and comes with an integrated Aeroccino 3. Free delivery £70 in vouchers 12 capsules in the box, £60 worth of Aeroccino = £20ish pounds for a superb coffee machine (should be able to sell my old Maggiemix M100 for more than that

Says £70 but should say £40, it's only £70 with the aeroccino.

I printed the deal having read it's sometimes difficult to claim a voucher so ensuing discussions could prove interesting!

One question to those who've been through this process before: on the form, it says 'Apply silver 19 digit serial number sticker', but also leaves a space for you to fill in the serial number by hand - does anyone know if both methods are acceptable, or if you definitely need to have the sticker there?

I'm pretty sure you need the sticker, No reason not to if you have the machine.

ended up getting the essenza and aerochino for 99 at JL today, heaps in stock.
4 coffees down already, good stuff. nice to have the option of an easy espresso as well as the aeropress.

now, anyone got any recommendations for refillable pods?

yeh agreed wife bought one of these last time it was on offer, coffee is just about drinkable....much better than that awful dolce gusto that we had before which produced awful coffee and was as robust as a piece of paper in a bath full of water - had 3 machines in 4 months

Brilliant coffee machines, while a full on expensive expresso machine does make better, this is very good for the money. Pods are not that expensive really especially with the freebie offer included and you can try them out for free in the stores as I found out the other week while at the Trafford Centre.
Some of the coffees are a bit rank tasting though IMO, tried a good selection before deciding on my regular choices.

HOT! I've gone for the Citiz&Milk for £154 (http://www.go-electrical.co.uk/magimix-nespresso-m190-citiz-and-milk-in-cream-11301.html). With topcashback 4% and £70 of capsules, that should come out to £78 for the machine itself. The Essenza and Aeroccino combo mentioned above is cheaper, but I personally prefer the look of the Citiz and only having to use one outlet in the kitchen,

Excellent deal for Xmas

Amazing coffee, beats other machines of a similar class. I managed to get the one pictured for £30 at a boot sale in perfect condition

Hmm tempted with this or the Tassimo. Great deal.

Just out of interest. How many shots of espresso does a £70 gift card buy ? Are these capsules expensive ? I much prefer not to be tied/bought in to a brand. ?

The caps are about 30p each, so you can get about 230 for £70.

You can buy compatibles from third parties if you want to experiment, they're obviously a bit cheaper, but not up to the same quality (in flavour).

I've had 2 Aerochino 3's now, both broke within a month, different faults. The coffee machine is excellent though.

wonderful

so cold. can't justify these overpriced home made espressos. sorry me being espresso purist, grinding my own beans and doing about a bit less than 10p a shot of pure stuff. Consumerisation.

Why do people waste time and money on these gimmick machines? Just buy a proper bean-to-cup machine if you need convenience. No need to keep buying capsules full of stale coffee, just go with the beans of your choosing and enjoy proper coffee.
