Heat the cup up with hot water, that's what coffee shops do. The coffee is brewed at the right temperature. Reheating your coffee in the microwavebreaks down any of the aromas that are left from when the coffee was first brewed.

I guess no free capsule offer at the moment.

Try pre heating the cup.

helps heat the machine up and the cup. You should notice a difference in temperature.

use the lungo setting for this

Worth every penny as an entry level Nespresso.

Latissima Pro is an amazing machine if you can stretch to it.
Hot from me
I went for the Nespresso coffee club offer as I spend over £25 per month on coffee anyway, basically get the machine for £1 when you sign up for 12 months, various plans from £18 per month upwards and your monthly payment you get to spend on pods from Nespresso with free next Day delivery
Lidl are about to do their own real espresso machine for about a fiver more. No expensive pods that are environmentally damaging.

nespresso.com/uk/…ing
Makes decent coffee, though only about 5-6g in a pod. When I make espresso at home in a 'proper' machine I reckon I use 18-20g of coffee.

That being said I've bought these for gf/relatives so when at their places I get somewhat decent coffee. They do the job very well, albeit at a high pod cost
Got the exact same machine and really pleased with it and Nespresso capsules.
I would say the temperature of the coffee is more than hot enough and probably the 'correct' temp.
The range of Nespresso capsules is great and usually has something for everyone.
The machine is a little on the noisy side but not overly loud or concerning imho and it doesn't take long to brew a cup.
I’m looking to buy my first Nespresso machine. Should I buy this or should I wait for the slightly higher end ones to come on offer.

This was my first nespresso machine. Searched for a while for a deal like this. Amazon have a good deal on milk frothers just now as well, can pick them up for around £25. Could get the pair for around £70 which is much cheaper than the expensive machines. My plan is to keep this for a while and then invest in a more expensive one further down the line

If you can, wait for the coffee credit to come back on. I bought this machine for £45 with £45 worth of coffee that comes in 3 X £15 vouchers to use on the Nespresso website.

Thanks. I might just wait for some offers to come up
