The Aldi risttreto coffee pods for these are the best. Which best buy too!

Plus we do half a cup of milk in micro for 90 seconds then coffee in full the machine fills the mug up nicely on large cup setting and you get a lovely latte.
Amazon have price matched

Aldi's machine looks better

I have the Aldi machine, and it's not bad, it does the job, but pretty much every time the pod gets stuck and you have to pull it out by hand, also it doesn't seem to like some brands like the Starbucks pods and dispensers incredibly slowly, I'm very much tempted to give this a go

I don't think it will be any better to be fair. We have this machine and sometimes the pods can get stuck or not burst properly especially if it's not a Nespresso alluminum pod, but saying that I wouldn't change it and it makes a lovely coffee. We used to have a tassimo but bought this after it broke. Apart from a pod getting stuck occasionally or needing the handle pushing down again because the pod didn't burst, I think it's good for the money and compact too!

rubbish review stopped reading after a few sentences. The current essenza is the newer machine.

Anyway, put simply, all nespresso machines made by them deliver the same quality of coffee. So if you're not bothered by looks, water tank size, noise or fancy features, just buy the cheapest.

They all have a three year warranty, and they give you a loan machine if you need to invoke it. There's really nothing to not like.

I have the U which replaced a three year old essenza, only because I sold it second hand for what I paid for it and fancied something with a few more automatic features.

You can also claim an aeroccino with this machine if you order 150 capsules from Nespresso

Nespresso Summer Promotion
Love my Nespresso essenza mini. Love the coffee
Have had this since April and loving it. I'm a snob when it comes to coffee and like @MRGRINGO said, Aldi pods are excellent (better than Nespresso ones, got two different selections from their store at the beginning). Pods from all sources work fine on my machine, literally never gets stuck or doesn't work. Highly recommended.

When I had a look it says only if you order Inissia from the Nespresso site directly?

The nespresso pods are far superior in my opinion. The only thing is the Aldi ones are cheaper but no where near the same standard in my opinion. I agree this machine is awesome

agree nothing matches the genuine capsules though Aldi ones are nicer than most. Not tried their normal ones but still enjoying the Christmas specials. If I'm not mistaken they have some instant blended in.
That’s a fair argument

I have a latissima and love the short coffees. The milk frother bit is very poor. It can’t warm milk for a latte and gives you froth from exceedingly frothy to putting fairy liquid in the washing machine frothy. My wife doesn’t drink espresso or ristretto and she much prefers the milky cappuccino and latte from our dolce gusto machine
Had this for about a year brilliant machine I never use nespresso pods and never experienced stuck pods etc use aldis and asdas often also the Starbucks and lor are regularly on for & 2 in asda for a strong coffee

Agree, although the Aldi Ristretto strength 10 tabs are excellent, I quite happily buy them, but stick to Nespresso if you want decaf options.

Oh, yeah the actual pods are much better quality at Nespresso, but I think the coffee itself is better at Aldi. Apart from maybe one or two Nespresso flavours.
Just an FYI, I purchased one from amazon and it came with a voucher to claim an aerocinno with the purchase of 150 caps
Edited by: "AnonAnonAgain" 8th Jul
AnonAnonAnon - I don’t see such an offer on Amazons website? Or did you buy the capsules that qualify you for a free Aeroccino?
Any one recommend a good bean to cup machine?
Just be aware they come with a 3 year warranty and breakdown at 3 years and 1 day...

I would disagree but think it's each to their own. I have 4 favourite Nespresso pods and I don't think much of the aldi coffee personally
Btw whilst I do love Nespresso coffee it's also worth looking at lavazza...the pods are so much cheaper and the coffee is comparible...just not so much choice

Completely agree and no one use plastic in the nespresso official pods

How did you get that? I ordered from Amazon and didn't receive anything
Ordered the red one from currys, it has 16 free coffee pods in the box as well as the voucher for a Aeroccino3. You also get a free gift with first order on the Nespresso site, we chose Cappuccino Cups & Saucers used the Aerocino3 code and bought the Discovery - 150 Capsules it came to £53.70 with free next day delivery .

I've recently bought one of these and I love the "Dharkan" official pods (intensity 11). They're very expensive though, so if anyone can recommend a similar alternative lemme know!
Have some heat! Ordered one through Amazon which cost me a grand total of 14 quid ( after they gave me 30 quid for bad customer service) :-)

I have the latissima as well, can't say I have had any problems with the frother as long as it is regularly kept clean.
I agree with some of the others that the Aldi Ristretto pods are pretty good (have tried some other cheap pods which were bloody awful). Don't think you can beat the Nespresso pods for the best coffee though the Indryia and Apreggio ones are favorites of mine, also the green lungo capsules are good if you want a bigger cup of coffee.
Same price everywhere, does it comes with the coffee pods (16)???

Yes it does
I brought one of these for £45 at Debenhams the other day, the online milk foamer deal is great too! Well worth it and a scorching price
FWIW having like most owners been through the whole Pod research thing I found these to be cheap (20p each), aluminium with a really nice coffee in them.
amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

EDIT: They've gone up to 27p each.
