It's the 1st and 6th months of the subscription that are free so I'm assuming you have to sign up to a year. In which case it is possible to get the machine for £1 if your signed up to 12 months sub which might be a bettering deal. Need to do some small print reading
Coffee is free but I agree with the subscription
Reading the small print it looks like you could take the 100 free capsules and 1st month free then cancel. Obviously you wouldn't get the 6th month free but that would be 100 capsules plus £25 worth free. So a pretty good deal.

Bought mine for £39.99 two years ago. Ahhh those were the days. Nesspresso pods are easily the best out there btw.

Thanks for clarifying. I thought that these two "gifts" were separate!
Still have my free pods from Xmas ! Kazzar is the best ! Also worth getting a milk frother

I got mine 3 years ago for £70 which included an aerocino and £75 worth of coffee.
Thought I'd get a replacement and take the old one to the office. I wonder if it's worth waiting for black Friday

Tempted to get this. My Nespresso is a few years old now. Descaled regularly but only produces a half cup when you press full cup. Oddly you get a half cup for the half cup button as well.

It would probably cost more to fix than replace with this model.

I've got the same issue with mine, however my espresso button gives the larger lungo
As it's still under warranty till January, Nespresso have agreed to repair it

Is the subscription the best offer though despite Black Friday ?

I guess it depends on if you want the subscription or not. The Nespresso pods are expensive. I've 2 machines and buy Lor pods for about £18 for 100 from Amazon. That's about half the Nespresso price.

You need to set up the buttons. You change how much each button can pour i.e. one for espresso and one for lungo

You’ve not got it set up right. See my comment above.

I have; I've had it for 3 years
And I've had it pour a custom set amount of coffee for my lungo and espresso, however recently the lungo and espresso are switched. I've even factory reset it and went through the whole process with Nespresso over the phone until they concluded that it needed repair. It's under warranty so I'm not fussed as they're also giving me a loan machine too

Thanks! I just checked online how to do this and it fixed it! Someone must have held the button down when using it and set it to a smaller size!

I have this machine and my wife has the pixie. To me both are the same.
We also have 3 frothers. The nesspreso one, a Lavazza one and a von hause one (which you can find a similar one at lidl).
The nesspreso is a bit weaker in frothing but has a very nice magnetic spinner which is easier to clean. The Lavazza one is still very nice and stylish and I bought it 2 weeks ago from Robert dyas for 20pounds. The other one is similar to the Lavazza in functionality and power. The nesspreso frother is the most expensive but we got ours for free on a nesspreso deal.

Personally I got my magimix for 30 pounds 3 years ago so I think you may find better deals if you can afford to wait.

£75 worth of coffee was a good deal. If I recall I got a 100 free pods which must be near the £50 mark. Nearly always Black Friday deals so well worth waiting. Amazon usually have a lot of reduced "like new" machines in the warehouse sale which will have a further 20% off.
Absolutely love these machines and the coffee is amazing.
Does anyone know if these old machines are going to be discontinued due to the new vertuo machines?
I've heard this somewhere...
Advice from Nespresso seller get the Aeroccino 4 separately if you fancy a frother , unless comes with some kind of combined offer.
