This is the cheapest this has been for a while and you also get 2 years warranty and £75 worth of Nespresso Capsules. Only issue is the white, however I'm willing to look past this for an £80 saving (before capsule gift card).

Nespresso Winter Voucher Deal £75.00

I also directly checked with Nespresso and they confirm that all Lattissima machines and specifically this one are included in the £75 Winter Voucher Deal.

Actually I can answer this.......I have both - Tassimo and Nespresso at my office, Nespresso at home. The Tassimo Machines are less expensive, but the capsules are extortionate. £1.50 for a latte, compared to 29p for a capsule and the price of normal milk for the Nespresso. The coffee in the Tassimo is inferior, as it hardly leaves the crema on the top of the espresso and is dark roast to the point of bitter. The Nespresso is much smoother.

I also find the Nespresso Latissima easier to clean and descale.

Of the 18 staff members that use the Tassimo and Nespresso, 17 prefer the Nespresso and our accountant prefers the Tassimo (probably because the machine didn't cost that much!).

Thanks for the info!

No problem I hope it helps

Thanks Op - just picked mine up from local JL store.
My previous Lattissima+ is still working fine after 3 years, but at this price I might as well replace it and stick the old one on ebay or gumtree!
Cheers!

With regards the differences between Nespresso and Tassimo, as someone mentioned Nespresso allows you to use fresh milk. This machine in particular the milk is truly steamed heated - like in a real coffee shop. The other Nespresso machines with an Aeroccino just heat and froth the milk - which is not the same. I don't know how Tassimo does it though...

The milk cartridges for tassimo are rank, I wouldn't say this nespresso machine is coffee shop quality coffee, but it is way better than the tassimo we have.

Ours arrived today, much nicer than our senseo at home or the tassimo at work, milk frothing makes it and its a far more functional machine.

Well worth it

Ordered - thank you

The red one is now £179.99 if you're interested.

I can confirmed the £75 deal was honoured by Nespresso when I registered my machine. £25 off 3x orders and it doesn't appear to be limited to capsules only.

Awesome thanks! Returned my Amazon order I bought for 185 and picked this up from store today with the 75 pounds worth of vouchers. Hot!

Thanks for that buddy.... quick question in relation to that especially as you have these in the office at work. How much of a beating can these machines take? i.e. you have 18 people using them.... are the machines capable of making at least 2 cups a day for each person without blowing up

thanks

The Tassimo was purchased earlier in the year and so far, so good. The only trouble we ran into was it needed a de-scale pretty quickly but it's popularity has wained as the coffee isn't great and I feel it's expensive for what it is is (the coffee that is).

We've had the Nespresso for over 2 years and it's never needed anything, although this doesn't get used as much as it's in our boardroom.

I hope this helps

Before anyone asks, our boardroom is downstairs and people are just plain lazy to make the effort to go down. They prefer the Nespresso if they can be bothered.

Does anyone know, can you do just a cup of milk without the coffee?

Thanks

I think if you ran a latte without the capsule - you'll achieve frothy milk. However if you want to be sure, I can try it tonight.
