With the Nespresso capsules promotion back, this makes the machine and Aeroccino effectively £25 with a 2 year guarantee.

You should be able to get around 250 capsules from Nespresso with the £75 worth of vouchers

Hope this helps someone!

Nice. This is the first time I’ve seen this £75 offer on the new shape machines. Interestingly reading the t&c - this is open to existing Nespresso Club members as well.

If you have an existing machine with aeroccino, sell it on ebay for ~£50, then buy a new machine for £100 including £75 of capsules. So effectively you are paying (£100 - £50) £50 for £75 of capsules plus a new machine with 2 year warranty.
(Ok maybe after ebay/PayPal you would get less than £50 but not far off).

The offer is valid until after Christmas so great for a present. Might also be an opportunity in Black Friday sales to get an even better deal.

Yes I had the same thoughts regarding possible Black Friday offers with this capsule offer but this seems to be the best offer now. Also seems to be £20+ more expensive everywhere else so maybe won’t be beaten on BF, who knows!

Only problem is unless you get your capsules directly from Nespresso. The machine is so new they're not sold anywhere else.

This takes the standard Nespresso capsule which are widely available. It's not the new Vertuo system.

Yes this is an Original line machine which accepts the original capsules

Is the Vertuo system just bigger sized coffee?

I think so - more of a complete machine but also with a new capsule system which as a post above explained makes the whole thing that much more expensive.

From what I’ve read all the original machines are the same basic machine with subtle differences (eg. build quality, materials, looks and branding)

Buy now or wait for black Friday... 1st world problems this morning

Up to £75 worth of vouchers, I think this comes with less

Will be £75, milk machines have £75 and none milk £45

I was going to post this Saturday after I ordered it but I forgot. Cracking deal I thought compared to anything else currently available. Hot!

What's the machine like? Thinking about upgrading...

Decent promo but waiting for a decent price on the new pod type machine......Vertuo

Does this machine make nice lattes? I love costa lattes...need a machine that reproduce that standard.

I think the idea is that the capsules are bar-coded, so the machine knows which capsule you've given it and can adjust to suit. But I suspect the main reason for the change is that they've been losing out to third parties since their patent on the original capsules expired. I imagine the new capsules have a fresh patent, so you'll be forced to buy from Nespresso. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing - we've never found a capsule we like as much as some of the Nespresso originals, and few if any of the lookalikes can be fully recycled, so we stick to Nespresso.

So just coffee flavoured milk then? Yes I'm sure this will provide that.

Hmm, looked good until you see you actually get 3x £25 vouchers on your next 3 orders, and unless you buy 200 then that's 3x postage to add, somewhat reducing the £75 value.

does anyone know if pushing this machine's lever at the top manually pierces the capsule, or if its an automatic mechanism? The reason I ask is the automatic mechanisms tend to not work so well with some of the 3rd party capsules

Coffee flavoured milk is the best! But it has to be in hot milk!....even a dash of caramel...yum yum!

Not really, this is more aimed at those who like espresso. If you like a larger coffee go for the Vertuo machines that make the larger sized coffees. You can achieve similar things with Nespresso but you're looking at 2 or three capsules to have a drink that tastes of coffee still.

Or better still, don't use these pod machines and benefit from tasting real coffee

The new one has barcodes on the capsule like Tassimo

All gone now

You need to get yourself to a doctor if instant coffee tastes better than good pod coffee. Something not right there.

Reading the t and c does no one ever.

Do they use standard nespresso capsules, or is it a new shape of capsules?

I'd stick in your email for updates when it comes back in stock. I done that on Thursday or Friday when it was showing as out of stock and next day it was back again. Worth a punt if you are in the market for one.

I managed to get one this evening and it's indeed a good deal. I did not know of it and was just wandering in Trafford when I spotted this and thought will post my first deal..alas it's already posted and expired... I guess it's because of no stock for 99 pounds Grey coloured one..I happened to buy the last one in Trafford Centre. I got 3 years warranty though.

You may want to stop being so ignorant.

Colonna coffee pods is the best pod coffee you can buy. Have you tried it?

Pods are vacuum sealed. So it's as fresh as the day as it's packed.

And how is that a revealing statement considering pod coffee is crap?

It's not me that's ignorant that's for sure.

Pod coffee can be good, pod coffee can also be awful.

Proper coffee can be excellent , it can also be awful.

Anyone can make a good pod coffee, not everyone can make a good proper coffee.

That's the key thing about Nepresso, anytime you use it you get consistent results, so good pods will always get you a good coffee. I'd hazard a guess that a large proportion of people using bean to cup, bialettis or espresso machines get a good coffee more through luck than judgement.

Good point but I'd argue pod coffee is consistent but consistently poor. If people just put a bit of time into it, they'd realise they could spend the same amount on a grinder that would last them years. Once you have that, everything else is easy.

Back in stock now - just ordered 😃

Me too, thanks for posting
