Basically you spend £216 in total over the one year contract, but the credit in account can be spent at any point (subject to minimum order of 50 capsules at £17.50) on anything. Postage is always free throughout the year.

Think of it as a car leasing deal, but you can drink your way through it :

On my third subscription! Love Nespresso!

Oh my days. I'll just stick to my £5 French press

Dont forget the free extra credit deal atm for registering a new machine

Took this out for in the office, use to buy costa but taking out this subscription is actually saving me money.

Subscription offer Can't be used with any promotion. Just looked it up.

So you pay £18 a month - and that £18 goes into credit - and you rent the machine for an upfront £1?

Or you get the machine... to keep... forever (once the contract ends?)

If so, this is crazy good. I probably spend £60 every 6 months I reckon on pods. But they have long dates on them, so you could stock pile and effectively get yourself set for years!?

Right!?

Just read the T&C and the machine is yours to keep after the 12 month term. Early exit for the cheaper model is £70 at any point (and you can keep the device unless you cancel in the 14 day cooling off; in which case you have to return it).

So this is 1 x £19 and 11 x £18 = £217. The credit seems to roll over each month if unused and expires 2 years after the end of the 12 month contract.

That's right. All the money that you pay, (bar the £1), is available to you as Nespresso credit for purchases. The credit also doesn't expire for around 18 months, (can't find the details now, but it mentions it as you go through the purchase process), so even if you don't use the credit during the 12 months it'll still be good for a while afterwards.

Are the capsules particularly over-priced to anywhere else? Can you buy them elsewhere? I know there are imitation ones too but curious about genuine.

Also just saw this which confirms monthly rollover:

Use, accumulate or carry over your credits for up to 2 years after your subscription ends.

You can buy them in Selfridges, but they are same price as online. Lor have just released a nespresso compatible capsule although i have not tried it yet (but Lor instant coffee is quite good). I tried the Dual-IT nespresso compatible ones from Costco....they were not very nice.

Just go to ‘My subscriptions’ in your account and click ‘add subscription’! No need for new email. I use the last credit of one to pay for a new subscription. I’ve had Three on the same account.

Thanks, just tried that but it doesn’t allow me to do it. I click on ‘add new’ and i go into a loop taking me to questions and answers telling me it is a one-off. Thanks for the help, anyway.
