The WiFi enabled coffee machine. Probably one of the most pointless objects in the entire universe.

Great price though if you're stupid enough to want one
Fair warning - the .97 price indicates it's clearance so there will be *very* few of them (most likely just the ex-display stock). Good luck to all and release the Geese!

Just as stupid (or not) as click and collect, ordering takeaway/food shopping online, locking your door/windows, preheating your oven, controlling your thermostat or light bulbs or vacuum or microwave, etc...?

Imagine waking up, flicking an app and walking down to a already made coffee (insert my-wife-does-that-already joke here). Sure, only saves 20 seconds but convenience is everything in the 21st century. Look at Amazon Go, this is only the beginning.

Everyone has had an AI in their pocket for years (Cortana/Google Assistant/Siri) and many people now have external devices (smart speakers, Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomePod, etc...)

Considering this is practically the same price as your average coffee machine, I don't think you have a leg to stand on.

If you could combo this with the nespresso voucher deal this would be a very good deal indeed.

For those who wish to save an extra few bucks and still get a Nespresso, the Inissia has gone down as low as £44 before (I got one) and makes a mean cup of joe. Heat OP.
Why is this expired? Seems to be allowing me to order.

"sure, only saves 20 seconds..." and there's the point.

Actually, it doesn't 'save' any time, unless you are the type of person who stands watching the machine make coffee because you're somehow trapped in the kitchen until it finishes.

I voted hot by the way, so I do have a leg to stand on (two actually).
I assume to have to put your capsule in by hand...so you can only brew if you have previously prepared?
Its a good price but I'm struggling to see the advantages....
There's a few on Currys ebay

Probably expired it because every time someone tries to post anything on this forum, unless it's the hottest deal on Earth, it's just littered with unhelpful comments, insults or complaints.

I know we British are known for complaining, but seriously, really puts people off posting. Especially when it's peoples' first deal post and people go ham on them.
"Set brewing times" is a bit pointless. It makes espressos which only stay hot for a minute anyway because they are a. Small b. Poured into a cold glass c. Don't use boiling water to make. Spend a minute longer on the loo than usual and you'd come down to a luke warm coffee. Plus you'd have to pre-load a capsule the night before which means puncturing it and having cold water and moisture seeping into it all night before the coffee is made, making it even colder and taste worse.
I really like my Nespresso machine and this is a good price but I'd never use the timer function.
Ain't wifi, it's bluetooth (fyi)

It only punctures the capsule seconds before the coffee starts to come out. But otherwise I kind of agree with your points.
