A good way to get people onto their Vertuo pods rather than Original ones since they still have a patent on the Vertuo pods.

Means people cannot buy third party pods or the cheaper Original pods.

Finally. Been waiting for this deal to reappear!
Will sell off the frother as already have one making this a bargain!
Thanks Op.

£89 - 2m (£70)=£19 net.
100 capsules = £52 = -£33 'profit', carried forward covering most of month 3.
Then only 9x £35 to pay in full. Good offer.

But the offer on the aerocino is rubbish, 400 capsules = £208 of pure cash, plus you are putting another £439 into the sub (of which £420 is for coffee) so you've committed £630 against capsules, meaning you have to buy 1,200 capsules and 500 of those on day 1, expiry date?

Admittedly you can spend the sub over 3 years, but the machine might not last that long, and you'd be starting over.
100 capsules for £52, glad I swerved the vertuo and buy 120 copy pods for £19.99. Lasts me two months. Each to their own of course.
Was hoping for much better from Nespresso. Guess I’ll stick with what I have.
Does anyone know what the cheapest subscription I’d have to take out with this offer? Am getting really confused trying to work out whether it’s worth subscribing for the two months free etc
The subscription isn’t for the first 2 months, it’s for months 1 and 6. Doesn't look like you need to keep the sub to get the deal mind you. (initial purchase, but you won’t get month 6 free if you cancel after month 1)

Free sub offer only applies to £25.00 option and as someone pointed out is valid only on the 1st and 6th month.
Oh god, the maths is therefore;

£89 - £50 = £29.
£52 pods - £29 = £23 profit
10 x £25 = £250 spent plus the £89 = £339 outlay for a machine and 670 pods = 50.5p per brew.

Even better than the £1 deal

or if you cancel after mth 6 it becomes

5 x £25 + £89 = £214 outlay for...430 pods (I think) = 49.7ppb

Yes but most of these pods do 250ml or so, whereas you get 80ml at best, so in most cases its a mug vs a double espresso.
Everyone harking about money but if you want this machine it’s a good deal. I have it and it’s excellent, really impressed with their customer service (free coffee everyday at their store or kiosk). I bought this one because of the foam and different sizes of coffee. Only downside is it’s completely ruined high street cafes for me, I’m too used to this now
I’m contemplating on whether to buy this, can anyone tell me. Is it one pod per cup? Also is it expensive to maintain?
It’s one pod per cup. There’s various sizes up to flask size. I love my machine, couldn’t go back to instant
I managed to get a deal last year. The machine and £120 worth of pods was sayting £99, but when i used my membership I got it down to £54 for the lot.
My membership gave me 20% off 1 machine a year but this time it doesnt work on this offer...
I been waiting for the black version. But I did not know that this version does not have the chrome touches and has a smaller tank. Went to look at it and seems a bit more cheaply made to the black chrome version but that’s still £130.

I am still waiting and maybe on Black Friday I will get the one I want as just about every model has been on sale apart from that one.
Cold £10 cheaper other places for the Krups or Magimix version with the same pod deal.

La Redoute for the White krups one:
laredoute.co.uk/ppd…spx

John Lewis for the Black krups or magimix ones:
johnlewis.com/nes…147
Get the magimix one, looks much better than krups and from what I tested slightly nicer coffee

Trying to understand this but struggling.
What’s the first -£50 and the second £52 ?
I am not interested in the subscription.
The first £50 is for the 2 free months sub @ £25 per mth.

The £52 is the value of the free 100 pods (roughly).

And to be honest the sub in this offer is really good value, you don't pay until month 2 and only have to pay 4 times then cancel (£100 total) and you then have £150 credit valid for 2 further years.

Looking for a Nespresso but wanted to try the Aldi pods, does this mean that vertuo stops these being used?
If you get this you are tied into getting Nespresso only pods. I loved my original Nespresso but for me, getting a full mug of black coffee of a morning outweighs that.

Yeah. If you want to be able to try different brand pods, you'll need to get an original Nespresso machine. Think their patent on Vertuo Pods still has a good few years to run.
Anyone else not been able to checkout the subscription as all the items in my basket are free (well durrr, that's the bl00dy point FFS).

Edit - the website on the box is wrong, you need to go to the minisite putting UK into the address

Having set up my sub, I've realised the offer is better than advertised.

Nespresso top up each months sub with £2.50, so by month 6 you've had £15 added on top of the £50 they were adding anyway.

Therefore for £89 + £100 (4mths paid by you), you get the machine and £165 credit plus 116 free pods (£58).

That's enough to buy another 330 pods (at an average of £5 per sleeve). Thats 42p each and that assumes you needed the machine and haven't sold it on fleabay (like I'm going to do) for say £59. I reckon I can bring the cost down to about 29p a drink.
I'm starting to think I might be too much of a heavy user for these machines. Despite using filtered water I've had three of the Vertuo Plus models develop leaks on me. The last one I had within 3 weeks of getting it.

Never had any problems with the originals.

Why not get it without the frother?? You are paying an extra £79 for a piece of equipment which they sell for £40-£50....
over complicated

I miss read the deal. Thought it was the same as a previous one where the milk frother was thrown in for free.
Needless to say I did not buy, yet. As the milk plan was liquidated.

I kind of like the way that you are trying to make it clear for others to make a decision to go for a good deal - thanks. However, there's a simple error at the beginning of your workings: £89 -£59 = £29? Of course, this should be £39. I am also unsure whether the subscription is exactly for 12 months? The offer on the £1 for the machine deal was I believe an 18 month subscription, with a charge of £35 per month. I may have got this wrong, and hopefully, I will be corrected!

You can have any subscription as the ‘gift’ after buying the machine. Months 1 and 6 are free and can cancel at any point. They aren’t talking about the £1 machine subscription - hence the £89 at the beginning of their calculation as they are buying the machine outright.

If you did want to go down the £1 machine sub route then the minimum terms to keep the machine is 12 months not 18 - ‘If you choose to cancel after the initial 12 month term, there is no charge to do so, and you can keep your Nespresso machine.’

Yes, I understand that Stitch. I am just unsure whether on this particular offer that the subscription is over a 12-month period or 18-month. As I have alluded to, I may have just missed this in my reading of their offer on their site, and wanted this clarified. Thanks.

I edited my post. You can cancel at any point on this offer. For the £1 machine it’s 12 months as per the terms I pasted in. It’s all pretty clear on the website.
Ok. I've seen your edit now, and understand that it is possible to cancel after 12-months. Thanks!

Cool. I haven’t done the maths for the £1 machine as I have already purchased but it may end up cheaper buying a machine. I did the vertuo plus at £75 which came with 12 pods with the machine, 100 pods 2 days later as part of the gift. Then I’ll pay £25 x 4 months (£100) to get £150 +10% (as Nespresso tops credit by 10%) so £165 worth of capsules for £100. So I’ll pay £175 in total for 112 capsules and £165 in credit on my account.

Are you saying that compatible ones are available for the Vertuo machines already, or the "copy" pods you refer to are the smaller pod size?

Last one - hopefully! Stitch, I have looked up Hedgehog_Bills link to see the David Lewis offer for £75. Is this the same offer that you have gone for? I clicked on the T&C link there, where it stated that the subscription offer was available on machines only purchased from Nespresso. So if this was the same machine offer, did you find a way around it for the subscription? The offer also states, as you have previously mentioned previously, months 1 and 6 are free. Your offer seems to be for 6-months, but is this David Lewis one that can only be cancelled after 12-months?

I bought mine from Currys. Personally I’m just doing months 1-6 as that’s the best price wise then I’ll decide whether to continue or not. Any machine you buy from a shop will be the same offer. The £1 machine offer is only from Nespresso and will be the 12 month subscription.

All the offers for 100 capsules and month 1 and 6 of subscription for through here nespressoukoffers.com/Tra…=Uk
