Hi,

Plumb Center currently have the Nest Indoor for £134.40. This is £10 cheaper than anywhere else and £25 cheaper than most retailers such as JL, Currys and Argos. You should be able to get JL to price match to then get the 2 year warranty.

Hope this helps someone.

Got an old Android mobile in a drawer someplace? Save £130+ and use it for a web-enabled security cam. Details at this link: Turn your old phone into a home security camera (and yes I'm aware it won't do everything the Nest camera does!).

Exactly what I was thinking of doing, but having a phone constantly on 24/7 day-in, day-out is going to slow-roast itself to death.

Another deal that I post goes cold!! It can not be purchased anywhere at this price, no idea why it's cold!

To be fair, it's only ~£10 lower than elsewhere - £145 at: priorityplumbing.co.uk/nes…2GB

You only posted it 2hrs, 40min ago on the morning of a weekday.

If it's truly a good / hot deal, it will eventually go hot, so don't worry about it too much

That is very true, but £10 is still £10 and most people would use the better known companies such as JL and Currys which is £25 more. Plus JL will most likely price match and so you would get a 2 year warranty. I think people tend to vote on the product rather than the price.

Not always true, as you can see from this very premium, niche item/deal, which went to a blazing +1500°:
Omega (yes expensive) limited edition watch reduced from £8000 to £5600 & 9.45% TCB possible too - cheaper than preowned at Goldsmiths

The site voting is very erractic - you or someone else could post this or similar deal in a week & it could go to +500° very soon. I've learnt the best thing to do is just post deals, then sit back & relax. We deal-posters have no control over the voting whatsoever, no matter how much we think, & can even prove, it's a great deal & should be going hot.
