Can someone tell me why it's worth these and pay this price over standard 30 quid smoke heat and co2 alarms, besides being able to be alerted remotely?
Wired? It's not clear. What's with 'smartphone display' in the title?

Great deal!
Oos

These are integrate into the nest ecosystem. They connect to your nest and give info on status. I also use the night path feature, which is a light which comes on when it's really dark. If there is a fire at home when I'm away it will let me know.

I have 4 around my home and linked to my 2 nest thermostats that control my boiler, underfloor, central heating and AC. If the event there's a co2 detection they'll shutdown the boiler and turn the AC on (or just turn the boiler off if no AC. Aside from alerting as a traditional alarm, it tells you (spoken voice) which room the event is in, you get mobile app warnings for same (if you were away from home). The night light feature is pretty cool too, I don't need to switch any lights on when moving about at night (ok, that sounds creepy). I've not had any duff warnings/alerts.

Only thing to be mindful of is that the 10 years warranty is manufacture date (sensor life) and not when you buy/install/open. Annoyingly the date is on the device but you can work out the date from from serial number YYMM.

I wish Nest Google would get these integrated with Hello for chime.
Did anyone actually manage to get one 👎
I got 1!
I reckon someone saw it and bought the lot....
I got one.

That's annoying, I requested a price match yesterday and they said yes, I just have to go the long route of requesting the money back after purchase

You should post this as its own deal. They seem to have plenty in stock.
I know its a long shot but did anyone order one online / In-Store and mind sharing a receipt (obviously not the the card details) I got one from JL in the last week and they will price match with a receipt of this offer as its now OOS Everywhere. In advance Thanks

I messaged john lewis on the day this was posted and they price matched it, but they needed to know the link before doing so, I think now that is is out of stock you'll struggle to get a price match, but they're well aware of the price b and q had on this day, as they price matched it yesterday and only changed it back to 299 when they realised it was out of stock, might be easier to say you purchased it last week and john lewis had it at 140 yesterday, they'll know the prices they've had it at. Hope you get lucky bud
