COLD 9 pack £1 at Sainsbury's

thats a stupid comment - its NOT a cold deal - its HOT - the site is about getting a bargain - if i got these for £1 it would be a bargain - might not be cheapest - but unless i want to spend more than a weekly shop money in travelling costs (and there will be others like me) this is a fab deal.

Don't be disheartened OP - its a great deal.

People should remember what the site is about.

Not everyone is lucky enough to live next door to every supermarket / poundland etc - its a good buy.

Well spotted - will look out for lots more posts by you.

Thanks for bothering to post

i totally disagree, this deal at the moment is not as hot as the sainsburys deal which has nearly twice as much for your money

but it is for the half of us on the site who are not near a Sainsburys surely ?

I, too, agree with nicster. I generally feel that if something is posted here, then it means that somebody has done some research into the retail price of an item, and has posted the cheapest current price for it. I understand that it's a lot more difficult with supermarkets, and their fluctuating prices, but the purpose is the same. While this may be a better price than normal, the best current price by far is the 9-pack for £1.

Disagree too. Surely if there is a better deal out there then this is colder. Don't have a problem with it being posted and for those that don't have a Sainsburys near them, then by all means vote hot.
At least Nicster gave a reason for voting cold unlike a lot of others on here.

so are you saying stuff the rest of us who aren't near Sainsburys - we can't see what the best price for us is ?

Just this site has changed beyond recognition - it was a friendly site - people posted what they found - it might not be the cheapest everywhere but might be the cheapest some can get.

I agree totally with what you are saying for internet shops as they ar available for all to get - but with in store deals they are only available to those who live nearby.

It seems this is a good deal to some - as from minus 35 it has travelled up to 18.

I cannot get these at 9 for £1 - so maybe i should be voting that deal cold - and all deals for shops i am not near ? Because htat is the flip side of what you are saying.

It makes people not want to post - and it will get to a day when only moaners will be left on here as people will stop posting deals when they are just whinged at.

Rant over - not getting at anyone - just trying to show the other side - please be kind to each other - we are supposed to be a friendly site ! (_;)

COLD

As has been stated, this is nearly 100% more expensive than Sainsburys

I can get 9 for £1 at Sainsbury's or 5 for £1 at Tesco. Both stores are in walking distance (10 mins +)

I voted cold because I can walk a little further to Sainsbury's & get 4 more bars for the same price. (well 90p with Staff discount)

just remember not to moan if someone votes everyone of your deals cold if they are not near the store and so its not a good deal to them

Hot for Caramel kitkats....
Cold for chunky.....

can I have a warm vote please!!

This thread contradicts what everyone always says. "If you vote cold then explain yourself in the thread", yet when you do justify your cold vote you get jumped on for being 'wrong'

This is a decent price if you like caramel/mint/orange/Senses KitKat as they are not normally on offer. Don't forget, tomorrow is the last day for the Sainsbury's KitKat Chunky deal.

Hot from me as I love caramel kit kats no sainsburys where I live but got a tesco..so I think I'll pick some up tomorrow with my weekly shop lol

The flipside of the argument would also be that there are always going to be deals that are not available to all people, but this shouldn't affect the voting. I see lots of deals for farmfoods and the like, yet I have none near me. It doesn't alter the price, or whether it's a good deal or not.

If it's cheaper somewhere else, then that's how it is. If you don't have one near you, then you can't partake of the offer. I've seen things get posted that I'd love to have, and I see that it's for a store that I don't have access to, so I accept it and move on. I guess what I'm saying is that people can feel free to post deals such as this, but it should be expected to get cold because it's not the best price around. It doesn't mean that it's useless, but it does go against the idea of a 'hot' deal, and people will vote accordingly.

Cold, as my 37 bars in cupboard would tell you
