Bit short of info and specification in their advert.

The description "Layer of Memory foam" covers a LOT of ground, unfortunately none of which helps decide whether its good or bad! :-(

It appears that Homebase are the only place selling this model too... although a search revealed the mattress alone is also available at £219.99

Memory foam beds, or at least the good ones, are expensive for a good reason. To get the benefit of memory foam it needs a fully supportive lower layer which will only be provided by either HD foam as in Tempur type mattresses, or a very high quality spring unit. Chucking a thin layer of memory foam on to a basic spring unit is a waste of money. You spend a lot of time in bed so this is definitely a try before you buy item.

Tempur MF mattresses are probaly still the best, but you can get some excellent clones at a third of the price.

Memory foam beds are much like Marmite, I have had a Tempur for about 8 years and it is great (I also like Marmite), but I know people who have bought MF beds and have had to get rid of them.

mmmmmmmmmmmn Marmite !!!
