You will need to purchase a Netatmo Thermastat. I would sell Nest and purchase Netatmo Thermostat and Valves to enable you to easily have controllable room heating.
Can’t be used on their own with some kind of hub?

The 'hub', the boiler connected box, comes bundled with the Thermostat and they are permanently paired out of the box. Then you can add valves to the system in the app.
There is/was a "smart valves starter set" with just valves and a hub but I don't think they fully released it here. I don't think it has the boiler on/off function, so they probably decided it wasn't suitable. Not much district heating in this country (if any?)

Thanks.

I’d prefer to use my valiant weather compensation controls with these to just manage the temperature in each room rather than tie it to heat demand.
