Cheapest I have ever seen for a smart thermostat. I guess this doesn't do hot water like nest and hive, but I heard hot water doesn't work for combi boilers. So not a deal breaker for me.

If you're interested in the echo dot too, John Lewis have the Amazon Echo Dot + Netatmo Thermostat for £124.90…ack

Going to keep an eye out for Amazon's version of the bundle as it says 'Bundle Savings: £50.00 less than buying separately', so that is no longer true.

I know not always popular on hukd but if you don't mind them you can get this for £99.99 plus £3.99 delivery on so use the £30 off voucher posted the other day and it's yours for less than £75.

Ordered mine last Saturday and it arrived Tuesday, can't complain about the service or price
I already have an echo dot. Actually I bought the netatmo just now on warehouse deals (like new) for £79. So pretty good deal I think.
of course it makes no sense on a combi - instant hot water *when* you need it; out of all the smart thermostats IMO the most useful is Tado - set and forget - uses geolocation to know how quickly you'll be home and raise the temp as required to get your house toasty in time; I've got the original Tado (on rental) doing a great job (advantage of that old one is it has a remote thermostat out of the box).
Tado is £129 on amazon now.
I am currently torn between the netatmo and hive 2. I ordered both on amazon warehouse deals. Netatmo for £79 and Hive 2 heating & hot water for £92. Not sure which order to cancel.
The only think I don't like about hive is the additional hub I need to connect to my router using ethernet.
I have had the netatmo now for around a year. Best thing is it keeps the house at a constant temperature and has definitely saved us money. I do forget to turn it off when I'm out but you can use it with ifttt to use geofencing.
Looking at this for just £40 - to control combi and heating at a holiday home we're buying at moment - anone know any reason why this won't allow us to control the heating from home over winter?…tat

Tried using flubit (esp since they where giving 20% off all electronics to Elite members which you can get a free trial with)

However they couldn't beat the deal, *****
I hope this comes back down again soon
