This is a good price for the standalone thermostat, John Lewis have the thermostat and an Amazon Echo Dot for £125 which I recently ordered

​Ongoing support? Are you suggesting netatmo are quitting?

I have two as the upstairs radiators are controlled separately.

As others have said, works brilliantly with Alexa and even emailed me when the boiler started misbehaving.

Just to update this - since this posting I have had a thermostat fail and have been completely and utterly ignored by Netatmo. Looking around it seems this is a very common issue with Netatmo as well.

Having been a big advocate of their products I am now quite the opposite and now urge people to consider alternatives where maybe, just maybe, they will get some support - or even a single response from the manufacturer.
