Great price for this considering that it includes installation. Installation seems to about £60 up for most other brands.

Details of the unit itself here.

Installation details are on the Currys site in a box below the ad.

These have been down to £90 for the unit only on Amazon in the past but most places seem to be over this installed price for the unit only now.

Box image suggests that it it is the latest "home kit" version. This has been a which best buy in the past

I ordered mine yesterday they are installing on Monday. Site requires that you enter a delivery location but that is just for an empty box with instructions on how to arrange installation. The installer brings the unit with them and prior to that they email you with enough information to arrange installation, without the empty box.

Does this work with (wet) underfloor heating ?
Good price including install. I got mine for £90 from Amazon and the install is incredibly easy, if you can rewrite a plug you can do this. Any questions and you can email Netatmo a photo of you’re existing wiring and they’ll explain.

For people not that confident it’s a great price though. I’ve had mine a few months with no issues, working with Alexa and Apple HomeKit and it’s great to turn the heating up or down from anywhere.
Showing as £148.55 when added to basket.
Great product, easy to install but why bother at this price. Adding rad valves is super easy. Anything that saves energy deserves heat
And it’s now out of stock
Cold. You get it free with an Amazon Echo and free installation with EDF just for changing to connect plus control tarrif. Slightly dearer (£50 per year more than the duel fuel tarrif I was on) but well worth it for a phone call.

First Utility is giving customers a free Nest device (worth £279 including installation), while EDF is handing out free Amazon Echos and a HeatSmart thermostat (worth a combined £288.99).
I don't understand people who buy in the whole "get for free with upgraded contract" deals. If you compare the price hikes you will be losing money after year 1. And all of them are at least 2 year contracts so you can't leave and will pay double the cost of hardware.
Great price for device plus installation. I opted for the Tado and I'm extremely impressed. I wanted to be able to control my hot water plus I needed the geolocation because my wife never bothers with the heating other than turning it on but never off.
Works. Does the job. It’s no Nest though.

I have a NEST and can't comment on the Netamo but there is more to it than that.

Learns how long your house takes to get to temperature at different outdoor temperatures. So if you like it at 19C when you wake up, it will dynamically turn on early to ensure it's the same temperature when you wake up. This saves energy when its warmer.

Also works out how much "inertia" your house has when warming up. If you set to 20C it might turn off at 19.5C and the latent heat will get the last .5C.

Also if you make adjustments outside of the schedule very often it will learn this and adjust automatically for next week.
Why does my Smartphone need a thermostat?
Netamo also considers the external temperature (via internet so no external equipment needed) and adjusts start up time accordingly.

Probably, as long as they talk to one another and most systems are now open protocol. 99% confident.

Netatmo does all this. It's a great bit of kit. My plumber fell in love with it after installing it (he was a Nest guy up to then) - he said the great benefit of it is the e-paper display - means the actual stat uses so little power than it needs no power supply, it can be run on batteries alone and left completely portable.

Netatmo does the dynamic heating too. It's brilliant and has definitely saved money this winter.
I'm still using the same batteries on mine since 3 years ago. Works well with Alexa too.
Only issue is that it doesn't fit standard UK backboxes. You have to make something up or glue it in. Seems to have been designed to mount directly on the wall without a backbox

I get mine installed on Friday. However I got this Netatmo free along with a free Amazon Alexa through EDF gas and electric tariff, its not on a particularly high tariff either you are just tied in fixed for 2 yrs,
And today the Curry’s Know How installer turned up. He didn’t have the thermostat, told me that “I had only paid for an installation and that THEY DON’T INSTALL NETATMO THERMOSTATS”.

Called Currys who said the item is not available and I should go to a store and ask for a refund.

A waste of time

Sorry, but it was a nice day to be at home! I do hope getting a refund is straightforward.
