Update 5: If you get asked for a mobile number verification, just connect to Netflix without a VPN and verify with a uk Number and then go back to VPN to subscribe with turkich Liras.

Update 4: when you get the prices shown in USD despite being connected to a VPN, that means this VPN does not work for this method. you have to choose another VPN.

Update 3: the Prices listed below for turkey did not change. if you see other higher prices, just continue and you will get the normal prices when you pay.

Update 2: Check the Pricing of each country HERE

Update 1: There are many unanswered questions in the comments. I will try to answer some of them down below.

There is been a Netflix Deal for almost a year but it has not been updated since then. I decided to bring this to life again with some updates as the price is very attractive now and the method still works fine. I did subscribed to a new Netflix plan yesterday using TorGuard VPN with server Turkey protocol UDP without any issues. After I subscribed I disabled the VPN and I can watch all TV Shows and Movies that are available for the UK on all devices.

Prices should be as following for Netflix Turkey

Basic
£2,33 / 15,99TRY
Standard:
£4,08 / 27,99TRY
Premium:
£5,80 / 39,99TRY

How to subscribe?

  • For existing users: unsubscribe from your existing plan and wait until it expires then do as following!
  • Download a VPN or use VPN Deal Here
  • Connect the VPN to server Turkey
  • open a private page in your browser (inkognito)
  • Go to netflix.com
  • Log in to your existing account or Create new account
  • Choose a plan > all prices will be shown in TL Turkish Currency
  • Insert your Credit Card details in subscribe to your favorite plan
  • That is all!
You can use Curve Card or Revolut Card to avoid foreign Transaction fee

Questions and Answers

Do I have to use the VPN permanently for watching Netflix?
No, Only one time to subscribe to Netflix.

What is a VPN?
VPN gives you a new IP Adress from another Country to simulate that you are in this country + it encrypts the data sent and recived while connected. Some use a VPN to watch contents from other countries like USA Contents or watch Contents from Homeland while abroad.

Are the Movies and TV Shows in Turkish?
No, it is all in English as a normal UK Netflix Account

Can I watch US Netflix in the UK?
yes, by using a Streaming Ip. I personally use a Streaming Ip from Torguard Deal.

would paypal payments work with this?
No, use monzo, starling or revolut to avoid foreign transaction fees

Is there any free VPN to achieve this deal?
Free VPNs : OpenVPN - speedify

Does NordVPN works for getting this deal?
No, it does not

Turkey prices have gone up?
No, Netflix experiments from time to time on new prices. Those prices do not apply when you pay.

Money I save on Turkish deal will spend on VPN to watch from USA, is it possible?
Yes, just use a US Streaming IP from this Deal.

Is Argentina cheaper than Turkey?
No, it is not. Check pricing here for each country

Check out the hotukdeals VPN Megathread HERE

Turkey pricing is still the same without any changes.3172244.jpg

Why do you do this? The quality of content on Netflix is 100% dependent on it's revenue. By doing this you are only making it worse for yourself, not to mention ripping off everyone else around you that's paying full price.

Personally I'd rather Netflix was double the price so we got more choice and more original content.

There's a reason Netflix is almost half price in Turkey, they have half the amount of content we do.

So tell me, every time a mis-price deal is posted do you call the company and tell them about it? If something rings up cheaper at the supermarket than the shelf price do you tell them and offer to pay the extra? No. Thought not. Selective superiority syndrome. Nobody is doing anything illegal. It’s called a work around. I think your nominal is very apt.
I bought a one year Netflix account on eBay last year, it lasted me a month then went off! Messaged the eBay seller and they sent an e-mail with about 30 accounts on.. They lasted maybes another month
Moral of the story, don't buy Netflix accounts on eBay

i suppose you could always ask a supplementary question; If Netflix can make money charging Turkish people much less than they charge us, why can't they charge us the same?

I can't see Utopia on a standard old UK Netflix account we have been using until recently so are you sure it's meant to be there now?

I get The Office (USA) by default when using a USA VPN via this Turkey account and UK version when in UK but still no John Wick in either USA of UK. What country should it be available?

Erm, isn't their cost of living less than over here? That might be the reason why it's offered cheaper... It would make a lot of sense

That's exactly why it's offered cheaper. It's what they've calculated people in different countries can afford, in relation the to the average persons wages. Netflix are still making a profit at the cheapest cost, but they'll set a price that they think most people can afford in any given location. It's simple economics/ market forces.

Likewise, if they thought it was worth the outlay, they'd spend money on preventing people signing up in cheaper countries. They most probably think that they're getting more money from people who might not be paying at all, perhaps even lose some to streaming their content for free.

are you actually being serious, you honestly think netflix is why … are you actually being serious, you honestly think netflix is why cinema is dying?! I go to the cinema too, and buy blu rays, I don’t see your point. Pretty curious as what job you have and if you don’t mind people ripping you off.

ripping you off you seem to be quite happy paying for it via this method if i thought i was being ripped of i would cancel the service

they pay little because it based on wages and pay of that country

Nope, not even close. I'd be breaking a companies terms and conditions, not breaking the law... like say going over the speed limit etc. (Amazing how many people have a warped sense of proportion with things like that.)

IF you had actually read through this thread then you'd have known that I don't actually DO this, I am a full paying UK subscriber and already stated as much. But we are talking about blooming Netflix, not my Water supply here.

Say they actually did start using some mythical blacklist on people. You do realise that you can actually pay for Netflix with prepay vouchers much like Now TV? So what would stop me signing up as John Smith and just topping up with those vouchers in that case? Perhaps they ban say my IP address. What, even if I switch providers every time that my contract comes up anyway? Which brings me back to my original comment. When there is so little they can do to actively keep me off the service, why would I be bothered..?

Thanks guys!

I was about to post about Speedify VPN!

At first it didn’t work till an app reset. Bingo! Think I tried 15 VPN’s... I didn’t want to pay for something I only use once.

Then my debit card didn’t work on Netflix (it’s one of those no charges spend abroad Master debit cards).

So anybody know a decent non chargeable way to pay lol

Yep. Listen up.

Download “Revolut” and sign up. You can then provide bank details from that account. Usually only takes a few days for the debit card to arrive BUT you will have access to a new bank account pretty much straight after you sign up. All free. I’ll PM you.

I was using TransferWise which is similar but they have issues with online purchases abroad although it worked in the U.S. when buying online software.

Trust me mate sign up for a Revolut account. It’s a worthwhile thing to have - has no affect on you’re credit rating , and just a really clever way to pay for things in foreign currency or when going abroad.

It was also useful for providing me with throw away accounts - which I used to sign up for nearly 10 google home mini’s for free and free delivery (which I’ve received).

Also don’t get bogged down - just go with it - it’s fairy straight forward - open an account - top up £10 - then use that account to pay for your Netflix.

Job done.

Sorry if an answer to my question has has been mentioned before. But do we have to keep an eye on currency fluctuations to makes sure the Turkish Lira is the cheapest? What's the easiest way to change the location & currency your subscription is charged in at a future date?

If your so worried - why not just change £30 into lira at the current rate and leave it?

Currency fluctuations to find the cheapest? Whoever can answer that question shouldn’t be on a money saving site and change their careers to become a currency or stock trader.

Location change? Best to start the process again pretty much - loading up the vpn - and resign for a new Netflix account.

I'm not at all worried with minor currency fluctuations. But I do feel my question could be important over the period of a year. The Turkish Lira has dropped massively over the past year which is good for spenders with sterling.

If the Lira rose considerably over the next year surely it could mean the Turkish Netflix was no longer the cheapest on the list above. Since the subscription is taken by direct debit most of us won't bother checking for the next year.

Its mainly a point to note and could be more important to some than others on this site.

Then why not just ‘lock in’ the current exchange rate now for the next 12 months?
Just tried it and I’m being asked for a mobile phone number, Turkish I’m assuming as it doesn’t accept a UK one. Could this be their new way of verifying you’re eligible for that specific country.
